Rawi Warin Resort in Thailand hosted our destination wedding, and we were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. As a couple from different countries who met in a foreign land but now reside together, we sought an intimate wedding with 33 guests. Rawi Warin stood out among the 20 resorts we researched on Krabi/Ko Lanta due to its remarkable beauty and elegant ambiance, ultimately leading us to book our wedding there. Throughout the planning process, the resort's communication was frequent and efficient, ensuring all our queries were promptly addressed. Upon our arrival three days before the wedding, we were struck by the well-maintained gardens, picturesque pond, and exquisite buildings, all of which contributed to the resort's appeal. The resort staff was undoubtedly the highlight of our experience, displaying genuine warmth and hospitality. They consistently greeted us with smiles and ensured our needs were met throughout our, and our guests stay. Rawi Warin's wedding package included essential elements such as decor, flowers, stationery, a wedding officiant, wedding cake and a wedding coordinator, making the planning process more streamlined. While an outdoor wedding was not possible due to weather conditions, the resort efficiently transitioned to an indoor setting, which turned out to be equally enchanting. The attention to detail in the wedding arrangements and the quality of service provided by the staff exceeded our expectations. The resort's pool was also a standout feature, and the surrounding natural beauty added to the overall allure. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Rawi Warin and its dedicated team for their contribution to making our wedding a memorable occasion. The hut is close to the beach and the breakfast changes slightly every day. In fact, other room types are considered close to the beach Don't mind taking a few extra steps There was a fire performance that night, it was the most exciting show I have ever seen Koh Lanta is for those who like tranquility There is a cave on the island called Mai Kaew Cave, which costs 300 beads per person. There will be a local tour guide taking you into the cave, which is so interesting Most people can handle it. The whole journey takes about two hours.

Really good hotel. An island inside an island. At this moment its going under renovation on some of the sea side front villas, but to me the impact its so minimal and the staff and management did ( and advised at our arrival) all what the could to minimise it. Not trying to be extra polite, but its a reality that staff( all of them) was extra nice. To say something less “nice” I just would say , that the finishes tell you that they have a few years but in any case the design its so actual . On top of that Breakfast its good but for a 5* hotel i would say that it could be improved a bit more , but again, in general its very good and at least to me it was more than enough. Free transfers to krabi airport. Again I just have good words and I will recommend it 100%

Lanta Miami is a beautiful, well maintained beachfront resort. The staff are incredibly helpful and gracious. They can help arrange taxi vans to get around the island easily. The food is delicious and there's lots of variety. The rooms are simple and cleaned daily. There is lots of greenery on the hotel grounds as well as soft lighting at night, making it a very pleasant place to stay. The pool and dining areas open up right onto the beach which is very beautiful. The resort is alcohol-free which makes it great for families, although there are plenty of places nearby that serve it if that's more your style. All in all, a great gem of a location! Would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Koh Lanta!

This is our 4th hotel out of 7 on this particular trip but sadly comes in a bit lacking for me, I had very high expectations. Firstly on check we asked about hiring a moped. The girl on the tours desk barely looked up from her phone and said “no”. We managed to rent one down the road at Miami but this is the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in Thailand that doesn’t help with motorbike rental. We didn’t approach her for anything else as for me, first impressions last. Our room was okay, can’t imagine when booking why I thought a bath on the balcony was a good idea! My bad! There was tons of wardrobe space and the bed and pillows were comfy. Lacked conditioner & body lotion which I’ve found in other hotels. Generally the room was a bit tired and needed a good deep clean. The bathroom mirror hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest and we had ants around the sink on day three. The shower had very intermittent water temperatures and had black mould at the bottom near the drain. Also tea/coffee spills on the floor that hadn’t been mopped. The communal areas I also found to be grubby and unkempt. No-one sweeps up leaves and they get mingled with bits of rubbish. The sunbed areas aren’t mopped so drink spillages give sticky dirty patches. You get the gist. Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and half decent coffee. I just found the ambience to be generally quite standoffish and unfriendly, apart from Mr Bunty who was lovely. Most days we went out to Horizon Bar on the beach, much nicer vibe. There are no showers or foot washes between the beach and the pools which results in the pool being full of sand. All in all I have been disappointed, for the price I expected better. Small improvements would make this hotel much better.

We planned to stay a few days but ended up staying for a week. The cottages are small ish but very clean and the bed was very comfortable, which is probably the most important thing for me when I travel. A lovely little veranda outside (with electric plugs) , and on some days I put the fan there and did some work on my laptop. The beach is 5 minute walk with a few restaurants and cafés along the way. The owner and his friend Suzan are really laid back and helpful. We booked our trips, scooters and laundry service there and prices were better than at any of the nearby agencies. No breakfast facilities but there are multiple breakfast places 2 min away. It's not a 5 star resort but we had everything we needed: a comfortable, clean place by probably the best swimming beach in Lanta.

I like to choose this one in a single-family cabin. Close to the long beach, it is estimated that the long beach will take 2 hours to walk back and forth, really long. It’s not bad to drive a motorcycle here, because Lanta Island is very big, I want to go to the national park and the old town a bit far, of course, you can also stop the tuk tuk on the roadside to hang out. The hotel is very compact, with a swimming pool and beautiful photos. There is air conditioning and hot water, and the service is still possible.

“Nice Resort on Long Beach” Want a Sands is a nice resort on one of the best beaches in Thailand. Pool Access room was excellent and the buffet breakfast was very good. Lots of variety for either western or Thai food and very tasty. The staff at the resort are top-notch. Derek the manager and his team are committed to you enjoying your stay at the resort. Lots of families at the resort but also a great location for couples wanting to experience a wonderful resort on a beautiful beach in Koh Lanta. Highly recommend “Fabulous location on the beach! ” Fabulous hotel overall. Fantastic location next to the beach, and there was so many pools to use. We had a room with pool access and it was fantastic. The only thing, I wish the fitness room would’ve been slightly bigger but it was still good. Would definitely stay here again! All the staff at reception were lovely and made sure to always help when it was needed! Definitely recommend.

A hotel with a beautiful garden by a very nice beach. Nice swimming pools, normal food, nothing fancy. However, in Thailand it is best to be in the city. The rooms are very large, you have to wait a bit for hot water, but I assume that in Ko Lancia they don't know the water circulation system 🙈 The hotel is worth recommending, definitely a plus, as a starting point for various trips around Ko Lanta and the surrounding islands. Ko Lanta itself, I am delighted with the climate, views, cuisine, and very nice Thai people. From trips I recommend snorkeling or diving to Ko Ha, Ko Bida, Phi Phi. Super kayak trip in the Andaman sea and mangrove forests. A visit to the elephant sanctuary is also interesting. Trips bought at local offices, much cheaper than from Itaka's office. Thailand is amazing, I will definitely come back to it.

We chose Twin Lotus because it is adults only. It was romantic, peaceful, lovely, and we will definitely go back. We selected a room in the back as it was cheaper and we did not need to be on the beach. There are several,pools to choose from. The ine at the beach can get filled by 0830 but we always managed to get chairs with an umbrella. If you do not occupy your chair they remove the towel but leave your belongings. We took chairs that had a book on the side table. The book owner came and we explained no towels were on the chair. She knew the rules and said she would choose a beach chair instead ( along the beach are chairs but no umbrellas). We were thrilled she was so nice. The breakfast buffet is standard and plentiful. All the choices were delicious. No flies or ants anywhere. You may see an occasional meandering water monitor but they walk past you. The gym is immaculate and adequately equipped. The spa is wonderful with well- trained staff. We had dinner there a few times and the food was very good. There are places in the little streets behind the hotel and along the beach and next door, but Twin Lotus food was better though a bit more costly. Happy Hour drinks were good. We had a Go Dive snorkel dive tours to Koh Haa and a car ride to Old Town. Recommend both. The people in Old Town were exceptionally nice and the little museum is quaint. Eateries along their street are good. Allow two hours for Old Town not including the drive to and from. The next time we stay at Twin Lotus we will go to Phi Phi but have been before. Twin Lotus has many books to borrow located inside breakfast restaurant, There are buggies to drive you to and from your room or villa if you have mobility issues. Do not bring glass bottles or glass to the swimming pool. Any wait staff will give you a plastic mug or ”glass” to drink your beer or drink in the pool or at the pool. Please read the rules at pool entrance and follow them to keep yourself and others safe. The resort is mostly European people and everyone, young couples and older ones, singles, and all were cordial and respectful.
