Amazing place. Thought i was in a Zelda level. not on the best beach, but close enough. Made a mistake with the booking and paid too much for a family suite i didn't need but hey that's my fault.

For a night at 3 to 15€ with breakfast included (the homemade bread is delicious), the small bungalow does the job. It feels like sleeping in the jungle (animal noises at night and rooster at sunrise)
The swimming pool is great because they provide games and buoys for children.
The hotel is located in the middle of the west coast so far from the market to the north and the beautiful beaches to the south.
Small restaurant 2 minutes walk away run by a great family!!

The villas are not entirely enclosed, i.e. the doors and flooring has space in between so the a/c escapes. It never actually gets cool in the rooms.

Bungalows were small - I was in one with 2 single beds but they were clean, 2 fans, simple bathroom, quiet - all I needed. Price very reasonable.
Simple continental breakfast if you wanted to eat there with homemade bread. Everything cooked nicely.
Constant refill station for drinking water - saving SO many plastic bottles! Brilliant and necessary 💚
There was a nice vibe around the pool, good for families. I had 2 massages, both good.
Close to the beach, shops variety of places to eat. Bicycle hire etc...
Everyone was welcoming, trustworthy and helpful. I met Oscar, the owner, as I left and was delighted to hear how active he is in regards to eco tourism and sustainability both for the environment and the locals.

We booked based on the positive comments, we are not picky but in our opinion, the opinions do not reflect reality... The hotel is well located on the island, close to a main road which facilitates travel. The setting is nice but the bangalows are aging even if they have the essentials. Breakfast is very good, not too much choice but for a few days it is enough. The big downside of this hotel is the invasion of roosters... Impossible to sleep beyond 6 a.m.! Finally, a discount is given to the restaurant if you leave a positive comment. This perhaps explains the number of comments so perfect.
