Best Hotels near Konda＇s Paradise Beach Villa, Koh Lanta

We chose Twin Lotus because it is adults only. It was romantic, peaceful, lovely, and we will definitely go back. We selected a room in the back as it was cheaper and we did not need to be on the beach. There are several,pools to choose from. The ine at the beach can get filled by 0830 but we always managed to get chairs with an umbrella. If you do not occupy your chair they remove the towel but leave your belongings. We took chairs that had a book on the side table. The book owner came and we explained no towels were on the chair. She knew the rules and said she would choose a beach chair instead ( along the beach are chairs but no umbrellas). We were thrilled she was so nice. The breakfast buffet is standard and plentiful. All the choices were delicious. No flies or ants anywhere. You may see an occasional meandering water monitor but they walk past you. The gym is immaculate and adequately equipped. The spa is wonderful with well- trained staff. We had dinner there a few times and the food was very good. There are places in the little streets behind the hotel and along the beach and next door, but Twin Lotus food was better though a bit more costly. Happy Hour drinks were good. We had a Go Dive snorkel dive tours to Koh Haa and a car ride to Old Town. Recommend both. The people in Old Town were exceptionally nice and the little museum is quaint. Eateries along their street are good. Allow two hours for Old Town not including the drive to and from. The next time we stay at Twin Lotus we will go to Phi Phi but have been before. Twin Lotus has many books to borrow located inside breakfast restaurant, There are buggies to drive you to and from your room or villa if you have mobility issues. Do not bring glass bottles or glass to the swimming pool. Any wait staff will give you a plastic mug or ”glass” to drink your beer or drink in the pool or at the pool. Please read the rules at pool entrance and follow them to keep yourself and others safe. The resort is mostly European people and everyone, young couples and older ones, singles, and all were cordial and respectful.

Alama was such a good surprise! All my top options were fully booked and by taking a look at the photos online, I expected quite an average stay/accommodation. But to my surprise, Alama was better than expected and I might consider coming back. I booked the Suite with Garden View and it looked exactly like on the photos. I personally love the southern part of Koh Lanta so to me the location was perfect. There are so many nice bars and restaurants within walking distance, plus a scooter/car rental, a 7 eleven, ATMs and of course Kantiang Bay. Because Alama is so high up, it can be quite a walk to your room or to the pool/breakfast area but the view from there is just stunning and the perfect way to start your day. So hopefully you won't mind the steps either! Just know that there is no alcohol (but you can bring your own) and the toilet has a curtain and then there is a wooden door to the bedroom, so if you have privacy issues, I would not recommend it.

I took my nephew with my dad, everyone thought the room was very good. A tatami-style room with a double bed. Dad sleeps with my nephew. I sleep next to a single bed. It is super close to the sea. There is a small swimming pool right by the sea. If the camera technology is good, you can take the feeling of an infinity pool. Although the hotel's own restaurant has simple juices and fruits for breakfast, you can borrow the hotel's beach chairs to relax before noon, and return to the room to blow air-conditioning to rest in the afternoon. It ’s great to watch the sunset. Dad saw that the foreigner was up and running in the morning, which caused us to stay for a few nights. I like to choose this one in a single-family cabin. Close to the long beach, it is estimated that the long beach will take 2 hours to walk back and forth, really long. It’s not bad to drive a motorcycle here, because Lanta Island is very big, I want to go to the national park and the old town a bit far, of course, you can also stop the tuk tuk on the roadside to hang out. The hotel is very compact, with a swimming pool and beautiful photos. There is air conditioning and hot water, and the service is still possible.

We stayed here 1 night to extend our trip in Ko Lanta, wished we would have stayed longer! The lady on the reception was patient and helpful with us, very friendly. The room is lovely, good bathroom and shower. The bed is comfortable and it was very quiet as well and the lighting in the room was really nice. Highly recommended staying here, even longer periods. Both pools are nice to swim, amazing view from them. Restaurant was lovely, very good service and food. The bar next to it is nice to watch the sunset and enjoy cocktails. Plus, they'll rent scooters, helps you get transfers tuktuks or boats, very helpful. 5/5.

The most satisfying hotel of this Tyrande trip is the Layana Hotel on Koh Lanta. It is quiet and comfortable. It is only for adults. The beach is 40 minutes away from the room. The restaurant is also facing the sea. The breakfast is rich in variety , Watching the sea while eating delicious food is so healing! Sindee, the hotel housekeeper, is a Chinese who has worked in Thailand for many years. He is warm and kind, which makes us feel very safe. The other hotel staff are also very enthusiastic. Our flight time is just in line with the hotel pick-up time, and the pick-up girls have hotels The nanny car picked us up, and the general manager came out to see us off before we left. Next time I have a chance to visit Koh Lanta, I would like to continue to live here. The price/performance ratio is very high!

Very nice resort with beautiful grounds and a nice pool area. Located on the far north end of the beach, it is quiet and peaceful. The restaurant has good food, although a bit over priced for the location. The rooms are large and we'll equipped. Our room had a couple of minor issues such as the shower head and the a/c leaking. The thatched roofs are in need of repair, but it looks like some work is being done. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again. Just note that some sea view rooms are actually the bay side, not the beach. Oh, and the staff are super friendly and helpful!!

After visiting this hotel before covid, we knew how great it was and things haven't changed since. From booking via their website site, to arranging transfers, late night check - everything was great! We enjoy everything about this resort, the beautiful beach, great pool, wonderful staff and amazing food. We can't recommend this place enough...😀👍

No matter what room type, even the villa pool room for four thousand one nights does not have any welcome fruit, or any other value-added services and small items to give you the feeling of ”VIP”. The cleaning service of the room is very untimely, and it is always embarrassing to clean when the guests are there! And the cleaning is sloppy, the table is not cleaned...
