Very Good

I was very conflicted when writing this review. I don't know whether to give it a good or bad review? The service is very good. It is almost a customized service. The staff pays special attention to the needs of the guests. And they are polite and decent. The hotel's entrance and public areas are very beautiful. The air is fresh. But the guest rooms may have been designed earlier. It is dark. And the villa has a very high ceiling. I feel unsafe sleeping on the bed at night. It's a pity that the window is not a floor-to-ceiling window. I can only see some green. In fact, the scenery outside is very beautiful. It's a pity. I can't see it in the guest room. The room facilities are old. But the leather of the sofa is very good. The table is a good log. There is no peculiar smell in the room. There is a little log fragrance. But I just think the design is old? The bathroom has a sauna and hot spring. But the bathtub in the hot spring is very old. The bath plug is still pulled by a chain. The bed is a little collapsed. It doesn't sleep well. The pillow also feels like it collapses. It's not like the quality of a hotel that costs 6,000 yuan a night. The minibar is also charged. There is a fruit bowl in the room. But it is fake fruit. This is rare. The breakfast is very good! The taste and service are very high quality. And it is a small private room. So I was thinking while writing this review. Am I satisfied or dissatisfied?! Will I come again? The service is very good. This service and this price are worth it. But I don't know how to evaluate the hardware of the guest room. I don't think I will like this room and don't want to stay there again. The hotel staff is very good. The service is very good. So I like this service. You can experience it yourself! Except for the guest room, everything is very good.

The experience is very good. The hotel's dinner is super eye-catching, especially the main course: beef

1. When checking out, I was inexplicably charged more than 80,000 yen. Meals and service fees were added to the guests without any inquiry or communication. Moreover, the food was very poor. The waiter asked me to cook whatever ingredients were available. Everyone must confirm clearly when checking in. 2. The room is old and you can hear continuous noise after falling asleep.

Style. Vintage forest lodge Setting. Ancient Arima Onsen. Next to a little river Explore. An hour drive from kyoto, the Tosen shrine and bustling Arima town just down the hill @ the hotel Old fashion vintage look everywhere, hotel itself is over 100 years old and reminded me of the old ski cabins in Big Bears California. Lots of dark wood and leather chairs. Sister building of the original Gosho, in biz since 1191年 (御所坊). Excellent service and they really thought of everything everything. From the valet parking to the outdoor moving walkway that goes up and down the hill Rooms. I was in room 7. Supremely comfortable room with heated floors. My room had a wooden bath that filled up with the golden spring water that Arima is known for. Part of the bathroom is a sauna I checked out the shared onsen as well but preferred my own bath, would have preferred an outdoor bath though. Food & drinks. Creative Japanese kaiseiki Prices. $1065 ($819 for the villa plus $246 for dinner for one) Rating. 4/5 a bit expensive for me

This is the most luxurious inn in the same chain as Goshoboh and Hanakoyado. First of all, I really like the hot water. It makes my skin beautiful. I went in before dinner, after dinner, and before breakfast. The room and the bath are equipped with cleansing, face wash, lotion, serum, and cream. The gentle sauna in the room is also nice. A down jacket is provided, so I put it on over my yukata and went to eat. The meals are Japanese at night and Western in the morning. The taste is really light and I felt that they paid attention to detail. After checking out, I was picked up and dropped off at Goshoboh, wandered around the town, and then was picked up and dropped off at the parking lot. The staff were polite and very kind. The maisonette room is a hassle to go back and forth between the top and bottom. The bath and the food are far away, and the disadvantage is that you have to ride a moving conveyor belt like a walking path to get there. It is difficult to walk on that path in geta. It was snowing, so I was afraid I would slip. The plan I booked through JTB said check-out time was 1pm, but it was 12pm. I was so intoxicated by the hot springs and delicious food that I forgot about the shortcomings. I can only imagine staying at this type of inn in Arima.

I think it's an inn that people either like or dislike. I stayed in a villa type. Although it was spacious, it didn't feel luxurious (maybe it was built that way on purpose?). It was mostly quiet, but maybe because the building was on the road side, I could hear cars coming and going, which bothered me even when I was sleeping. Also, even if you open the window, the view outside is not good, giving the impression of being desolate. Walking back and forth between the room, public bath, and restaurant in the rain is a hassle, so I thought it would be nice if the stairs were a little easier to walk on and the grass was well-maintained. The public bath is small and I had to be considerate of other people, so it would be more relaxing if I waited until they left before entering. The free coffee and milk after the bath was nice. Both dinner and breakfast (Western food) were delicious. Each dish for dinner was beautiful, and I was completely satisfied with the bowls, sashimi, grilled food, steak, and ginger rice. Staff response was good. I heard that there were no pamphlets for the accommodation, so I thought they wanted only those who liked it to come.

My husband and I enjoy staying at hot spring inns twice a month. We had been interested in this place for a while because it had a high rating among Arima Onsen hotels, and we were grateful for the hospitality this time. We parked our car a little further away and took the shuttle to the inn. Our room, a little further from the front desk, was a stylish maisonette type, but we found it troublesome to carry our suitcases up the spiral staircase from the second floor entrance to the bedroom on the first floor. We had delicious meals both in the morning and evening. It may be good to stay at a hot spring inn on a vast site that makes use of nature, but we felt it was a little difficult for us as a couple to move from the front desk to our room, the large bath, and the dining area.
