It was the most comfortable stay at The Poovath in Fort Kochi. The property is for people who likes Heritage concept. Well maintained and clean property. Not crowded hence you feel homely. Staff were humble, coordial and a pleasant experience interacting with them. Adjacent to nice beach where one can stroll in the morning/evening. Good food outlets in the beach.

The place has a lot of character, is very well located and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and worked very well for us. The stand out was the amazing breakfast each morning, which was included in our rate. The undercover outdoor area has beautiful gardens and very relaxing. You have local and continental choices for breakfast, and our waiter Aslam was absolutely fantastic.

Set in an calm and serene atmosphere this place is a must visit place for anyone who wants to take a break from the busy life and be at peace for a while. The food is amazing and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Beach is 5-10 mins walk nearby and is so beautiful with shipyard near to ocean. There managerial staff Jiya Thomas and Anna have been helpful throughout making the anniversary decorations and cake for us a cherish and celebration to remember. Thank you all and wishing the best.

The location of the hotel was great .. literally 2 min walk to fort kochi. It’s a heritage hotel with lovely views from the large common balcony. Good size rooms with ample storage and lounging area . The best part was the food- made to order special Kerala meals not in menu and customised food as per our taste buds. The chef was very accommodating to cater to our needs. The staff were very helpful and considerate. Only reducing one star as feel the pool could be maintained well as wasn’t sure clean enough to swim for my daughter, other than than great place to stay if in Kochi .

È un luogo meraviglioso, una residenza del periodo coloniale splendidamente conservata. Il giardino curatissimo, la piscina, la terrazza che guarda il mare. Vicinissimo all'antico cimitero olandese e alle reti cinesi. Ottimo anche il servizio di ristorante. Staff molto collaborativo, ci hanno organizzato e indirizzato ad una valida clinica ayurvedica per un trattamento e ad uno spettacolo di kathakali presso il centro culturale del Kerala (a 5 minuti di cammino).

The property is beautifully maintained and offers stunning views. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the food was excellent. The property also features a small pool, a relaxing courtyard, and a balcony that offers a perfect view of the sea and sunset.

I had a great experience at Amritara fort kochi. I was celebrating my girlfriend's birthday and I had booked in the last minute. My request for a cake and decorations where taken care of gracefully by the staff. The decorations where beautiful and the cake was yummy! Thank you!

Beautiful and extremely relaxing stay in Cochin. It's a place with a lot of colonial charm and tranquility and we have enjoyed it a lot. Food is very nice and staff very pleasant and efficient. Pool was lovely too. Right in whithin walking distance from Fort Cochin and the fishing nets. We can only recommend it
