The staff are friendly. The suite rooms are perfect. I don't think the hotel restaurant is bad, so I'm satisfied. Convenient for long stays.

It has new renovated rooms. The location s excellent. It is right beside a shopping mall and just a short walk or ride to Seematti and Jayalakshmi.Quick check in, clean rooms, good spread of breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful staff. Must mention the two ladies at reception counter, who went out of their way to help.

Dream Catcher Home Stay

A very friendly welcome to Kerala for ourselves and 6 year old son. Our hosts were so kind and friendly, lots of useful advice on prices, where to eat to avoid tourist traps and things to do. I was even whizzed around on the family scooter in search of working atms before we left for the south. There is a big terrace, with functional chairs and a few spots on the balconies with sofas for relaxing. Rooms were simple and clean and great ac. Ask for a room with windows that open.

Excellent service, food and amenities. The staff are extremely cordial and always available for any assistance. The buffet dinner and breakfast have great variety and taste, with options from multiple cuisines. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our young kids enjoyed playing in the pool. Would definitely come here again.
Bolgatty Palace & Island Resort

Second time staying here, and found it to be a huge mistake. The property is beautiful but sadly is in need of a lot of maintenance and upkeep. Stray dogs roam in and out of the property freely, and the staff is indifferent. The Marina annexe has great views but that’s where it ends. It is perpetually in darkness, and I was the one switching the lights on every evening on both the first and second floors. The rooms are musty and worn out, and the bathroom had the wet cloth smell throughout our stay. The so called entry/lobby of the Marina building is badly maintained, furniture is left askance, no staff, reminds me of college hostels in remote villages. The service room is left open all the time and we get a lovely glimpse of all the mattresses and sheets strewn about on the floor ***** with sundry bits of trash. The beautiful Dutch bungalow is dirty, smelly and the previous events leftovers, dishes, juice boxes and remains lay spread all over the veranda of what is supposed to be a heritage building. Breakfast service was appalling. There weren’t enough chairs inside so we were collecting chairs from outside and bringing them in, while the hotel staff person stood there silently watching us. When we suggested to him that they could help us at least with organising chairs, he said the hotel staff is less 😱. No plates, food was less, we didn’t even bother placing any orders for eggs as it didn’t look like anyone was interested in taking them or whether there would be any hope of seeing our orders. Staff is polite but appears to be mainly focused on attending to politicians or govt guests. Ironic and sad that paying guests are left to attend to themselves, while public servants get waited on like royalty.
