Western Valley Home Stay

I stayed for 3 days during the second week of september, i was traveling with my family, so we chose the four cot room, on arriving, the staff helped with luggage and they were super friendly too, the four cot room was very spacious and had various furnitures like a table, chairs, sofa, etc. The bathrooms were super clean and well maintained. For hot water, a heater was available in the bathroom. A television and a landphone was provided for calling the staff in need of any. The breakfasts provided are not free but to be paid while check out, during my stay the prices for breakfast was 100- and tea was 20- which is not very expensive and food is somewhat decent. There are not very good restaurants nearby and so it's best to have breakfast from here. The staff are super friendly and they did provide good service. The hotel surroundings are decently maintained and gives u a good scenery. The hotel is close to most attractions so travel-ling won't take so long.

Good stay place, ambience and pleasant atmosphere. Happy stay with ancient style rooms. had a wonderful night 🌙 stay.

Pros: * Staffs are really friendly and helpful. * Room stay is reasonably ok to stay. Cons: * There is a water leakage in restroom. Complaint about it and they couldn't fix it during the stay. Due to that restroom was always wet and not good experience 😞. * Wifi - Definitely needs to improve, there is no signal at all 😞.

Manager was very rude and non supportive, he didn't give us a blanket and didn't change our room window curtain which was stinking badly and not even was ready to change our room, also he was very rude in communicating food timing there and scolded our kids, very bad service received from makemytrip as well as hotel, it totally spoiled our trip

Rooms are good and clean. Good for family stays. However they have power issue. I stayed for 2 days and power gone at least 10 times, they have generator and not ready to turn on.

Location is close to lake and silent. Room is too old. There were flies inside the room. No support from reception too. Bathroom is renovated i guess. Bathroom was clean and nice but room is par below average. I would not recommend this

It was an amazing place to stay... The property rooms, common area , garden is awesome and one can have any number of groups and stay. What made us highlight on this booking is their service , I must say they provided us an excellent room service and the morning breakfast was also too good Would definitely recommend for all who is looking for a stay in Kodaikanal. We came to the accommodation by 3 am but no one was available for check-in, and also no one picked up the phone, so we cannot stay at this property
