Zion Elite Residency

The guy in the red circle is the manager of very very very worst home stay , Zion elite Residency. This guy is trying to hide his face due to his bad deeds these people do with the outside tourist. Be aware of this home stay and this guy. We stayed in this money waste stay for our most unlucky 3 days. We were 4 members but they only gave 2 towels for whole our stay. We asked for a complimentary tea then the big wealthy owner said that there was no milk while this red circle guy manager was taking a full bucket of tea. This home stay was like prison cage you cannot go to enjoy any activities . In this stay there is no security at all. no guard , at night they don't put lock on the main gate. Whole night we felt very very unsafe , terrible and in rooms the lock was also not well maintained If you come here to stay then be ready to sleep on teared bed sheet with tore mattress and toilet with so many mosquito without any coil and very bad smell , no adjust fan

Rooms are good only, but the location is too inside and difficult to manage without personal vehicle. Availablity of food is major problem and there is no hotel near by. Even for tea and coffee we need to order so ealy and will get after 2 hrs only. Breakfast items are very limited and we need to order so early. There is no sufficient staff and one person is managing everything, there is no intercom facility, we need to call from mobile to reception for everything. There is no lift facility, for everything we need to use steps. Major issue, we faced is water problem. Full dirty water came in and we cannot use, hotel people told that they cannot provide good water and asked to leave hotel if not interested. We are having lot of struggles related to water, food during our stay. Atleast 2 rooms we moved our laugauge due to water.

It's good stay at reasonable price. It seems to be 4 km form kodaikanal lake but the way to reach this stay is not good. Cab fare from kodaikanal lake to the this stay is 800 rs

You will he the good view from your room this is the only best think you can experience. No wifi, hot water, no drinking water provided, no food available in the hotel and our check in time was at 9 am but we got the room at 10. 30 am.

It's located little bit interior & without a own or rented vehicle its tuff to assess the property. There are no street lights in the lane near the property and it's very dark at night but safety wise haven't had any issues. Overall it was an ok stay.

The place is good for group travellers. It is a bit away from the centre of kodaikanal but this is an advantage that you are away from the traffic and busy streets. The view from the rooms is soothing and the place is clam. You will find complete peace pf mind. The owner and staff are friendly and very cooperative. It’s a 10/10 for zion elite residency.

The rooms were good however there was nothing in kitchen as it shows in the pictures. There was no induction to cook, luckily we carried our own cooking items else we would have ended up eating in hotels. I had requested for our rooms to be at ground floor as 2 of us were senior citizens. Hotel management gave us 1 room at ground floor and 3 rooms at 2 floors down in the basement which was so inconvenient. Would not recommend this place to others.
