The hotel is very busy which directly affects the services being offered. Right from the moment we entered the hotel, our experience was very poor. There was a huge line up of cars waiting for valet service and there was one 1 person taking care of the same. I had to wait for 10 mins to give my car and also I had to take my luggage myself. Had requested for early check in by 12 noon but got the room by 2:30pm after requesting on the counter multiple times. In-room dining took about an hour and the food was below standard - pre prepared, stale and cold. I couldn’t imagine being serviced this way in a 5 star hotel like ITC. There was no response from in room dining and front desk which added to our frustration levels. The food manager visited us and tried to console but it was too late. In the evening, we were booked for Ottimo - for Italian food. However the food was disappointing and tasteless and we didn’t enjoy yet again, though we were compensated. ITC Royal Bengal looks fabulous from outside. But it lacks in servcie, quality, comfort and warmth. Unfortunately, didn’t enjoy my staycation.
