ITC Royal Bengal, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kolkata

Excellent service,Cleaning and amenities

The stay at itc sonar was wonderful. The ambience ad grandeur of this property is beyond words. The cuisines served here are excellent. Credit goes to Chef Shubonkar for taking individualistic care. I would like to mention Mr. Sujoy from front office for his help ad arranging the best for me. I would love to visit again.

Beautiful property , excellent stone work , staff are polite and helpful prompt service . Recommend to others for future unconditional pleasure .

Such a good hotel,but they have to improve their service and about their direction should be more clear. And should add good item in room for snacks

Very nice hotel and building is very majestic. Breakfast spread is not bad. Just wish that they have more non-indian food choice

The hotel is very busy which directly affects the services being offered. Right from the moment we entered the hotel, our experience was very poor. There was a huge line up of cars waiting for valet service and there was one 1 person taking care of the same. I had to wait for 10 mins to give my car and also I had to take my luggage myself. Had requested for early check in by 12 noon but got the room by 2:30pm after requesting on the counter multiple times. In-room dining took about an hour and the food was below standard - pre prepared, stale and cold. I couldn’t imagine being serviced this way in a 5 star hotel like ITC. There was no response from in room dining and front desk which added to our frustration levels. The food manager visited us and tried to console but it was too late. In the evening, we were booked for Ottimo - for Italian food. However the food was disappointing and tasteless and we didn’t enjoy yet again, though we were compensated. ITC Royal Bengal looks fabulous from outside. But it lacks in servcie, quality, comfort and warmth. Unfortunately, didn’t enjoy my staycation.

Loved the hospitality

We're come at ITC royal Bengal at midnight, looking for some snacks and Beverages n we get know that Darjeeling lounge is open,we go there and give order , the server Ashad is very polite and give great service,best hospitality by him ,will be back again to Darjeeling lounge when we visit again at Kolkata

One of the most horrible stays despite being platinum customer. During night air conditioning doesn’t work In room dinning services exceptionally slow. They dont pick calls when your order is delayed Checkin process pathetic This was done in past too in the month of march when my family stayed. Dont go on ambience. Think twice before selecting. Despite being ITC platinum member I would say “STRICT NO FOR THIS HOTEL”
