This was an absolute wonderful stay. The room was incredibly beautiful and the view breath-taking. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my stay, I would 100% visit again. I saw other reviewers complaining about accesibility and water availability. You're in a treehouse in the mountains, this is part of the charm. The location is slightly remote (10min walking from town through a humble street of locals) and pumping water to the location is difficult. There is no issue if all guests are considerate with their water usage. I experienced no issues whatsoever, and would have loved to spend more time there.

The room was nice and very honeymoon coded. However the shower head was loose and fell off my head 3 times. Shower gel and shampoo bottle were empty. Aircond was not functioning at all. I requested to change room but all room were occupied so i requested for a stand fan. View wise was superb. I enjoy watching sunset from my balcony. And oh you need to hike to go to this hotel, not recommended for people with babies and those who scared of insects and lizards!

Beautiful rustic hotel vibes for nature lovers! The view is stunning and the room is beautifully decorated. Definitely a bit harder to get to and requires walking up some stairs but worth it. Sometimes they had water pump problems but fixed it immediately. Bathroom isn’t the nicest but not bad at all. Staff is also very helpful.

We didn’t have water any day. They give us a bucket for the toilet. Air conditioning doesn’t work properly. The breakfast was so small and basic. The views are beautiful but you can see the hotel going to ruins. Sad

The property is beautifully decorated and the private balcony offers a fantastic view and spot to watch sunset. As the name hints the property is located on a hillside which means there are a lot of steps. However it’s worth it for the view! It also means that amenities like water are hard to deliver, and we had to wait for more water to be pumped up- not an issue just something to note. Overall the property has a lovely rustic charm, but I would advise brining water or wine/drinks to enjoy on the balcony (there is a fridge) as the restaurant doesn’t have anything other than beer and it’s a bit of a distance to the shop. The staff were really kind & helpful with all of my questions. I would stay again 😀

The outdoor environment is good, but the room is small and dim, with only two small table lamps, no hair dryer, and the door is locked with a key and a padlock. I booked it because of the high ratings, but I personally think it is not worth the price. Grab can't reach the hotel entrance, and you need to climb the slope for another five minutes to get to the hotel. Friends with a lot of luggage don't have to consider it, it's really tiring!!!

The scenery of the hotel is so beautiful! The morning and evening are the most healing time. The room will be very hot during the day! The air conditioning is not good, but the service staff are very friendly and will solve any problems in time. Disadvantages: (1) The car to the hotel can only be parked on the main road. You need to drag your suitcases along a muddy road of about 80 meters and about 150 steps. You need to be self-reliant the whole way. There are only two female service staffs with limited strength. We almost collapsed on the way to check in. 2 If you are afraid of animals, please choose carefully when sleeping at night! ! The toilet in the room we arranged is open-air. At night, we saw rats, centipedes, geckos and all kinds of insects. There will be mosquitoes and geckos when you sleep at night! Please bring ointments and mosquito repellents!

Everything is great, but it is better not to come here with a suitcase. The hotel is on the mountain with a beautiful view, but getting there is a problem.

Give up, my friend! Listen to my advice, don't be fooled by the beautiful scenery. Since you have come to Komodo, you don't lack a little sea view. The stone road up the mountain, the bad service, the Indonesian songs with 3D surround sound during the wedding season, the dim lights, the crawling bugs, the creepy chanting of the believers at 4 am, the extremely simple facilities, the primitive villages, the bad restaurants... It cost more than 300 yuan to come here, and it became my nightmare! You won't be able to take a good shower or sleep well when you come here

Unfortunately this structure created several problems for us. The first room they gave us had a shared veranda with another room but the curtains did not cover the windows so it was possible to see inside our room and not have privacy. They changed our room where we had privacy but the mattress was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was underground and you had to climb a steep staircase. There was no water, we had an autoclave next to it that made a very annoying noise. It is next to a mosque and this did not allow us to rest well either at night or during the day. The staff was very helpful in solving our problems

At the reception they didn't even have a reservation. Waiting for the staff to welcome us, we immediately noticed the pool water that seemed as clear as a pond. The cleanliness of the room and even the towels, neatly arranged on the bed, was non-existent. Crumbling wardrobes, drawers that broke when opening (rotten wood). The unstable balcony railing. The bathroom can't even be commented on. There is absolutely no correspondence between the published photos and reality. We gave up immediately, without being reimbursed, because it was rightly established ... but we understood the reason! It is preferable to lose money, rather than health. A terrible experience

It's pretty good. It's completely broken. The toilet is open-air. The road is rugged. It's impossible to carry a box. But the scenery is invincible. As long as you have an invincible heart, you can sleep soundly anywhere.

Ideal for seclusion and those who prefer a quiet way to travel, on the balcony. The biggest advantage is that you can watch the scenery from the balcony. But the way up the mountain is very primitive and not suitable for large luggage. It's okay if you bring less luggage and just enjoy the scenery.
