At first glance it seems like a backwoods place but it's not bad. It is easy bigger than it looks from the road. There is a nice pool. Villa rooms are passable but not great. They do have several amenities like safe, kitchen, ok bed. Not enough towels. There are misquotes. The outdoor restaurant is great. Only open until 9pm. Lots on the menu. We were had was delicious. It's a bar as well. Staff doesn't speak English very well but they try hard. Road noise is irritating as well as the rosters etc. AC and hot water work fine. You can book excursions, do currency exchange, and pay with visa pin. My biggest peve is it's 4km from the beach and nothing else is nearby like shops, restaurants, and bars. Some odd things: they want a 1000 bot damage deposit, folks take off there shoes to enter the restaurant and office. The outside lights don't work until you out. These almost no place to hang towels, clothing etc. 3 of 8 pool lounge chair are broken. Not enough pool furnature. No pool towels. Door and window locks are ancient. Found out about free shuttle to downtown three times a day. This is nice but typical of poor information for it's patrons. The only staff the seems to understand English fairly well is named 'Beer'. He might be a manager and is very helpful. In general all staff are friendly and help if they can. A special thanks to the evening office person that ordered us a Grab meal because the flight was late and the restaurant was closed.
