Top 5-Star Hotels in Krabi

Booked the hotel with some friends as the internet video and website looks so alluring. Arrived at the hotel with super warmth hospitality, truly a 5 star service. The property is very large, spacious and have a rustic Thai style. The facilities and amenities like gym is super neat and tidy, equipments are well maintained. Th pool is nice and super huge with a pool bar which we literally hung out most of the time. There are other amenities like snooker and table tennis which require a small fee to play. We opt for the club lounge access and while the food options is a little disappointing but otherwise the service is tip top.

Resort is set amidst a Beautiful & Picturesque location,away from the hustle and bustle of other busy resort destinations. The entrance to the resort is quite an Adventure! Ideal for a relaxing & quiet family vacation. Warm & Friendly staff, always glad to help with a smile . Well maintained rooms and amenities, could do with a bit of modernisation and luxury to match the price. Sumptuous Buffet Spread! Food Quality and Service at all the F&B Outlets was splendid. Super Cocktails! Fantastic” Instagramable”views of the ocean from the rooms and the swimming pool.!, Hence Didn't feel the need to venture out of the resort ! Would definitely come back again

I don't think it's enough to be called a five-star hotel. The location is a bit remote and it's not very convenient to take a taxi. The earliest shuttle bus departure time is 10 o'clock, which is not convenient. The appearance of the building is a bit old, the rooms are a bit small, and the furnishings are quite average. Hygiene is average. The hotel is a bit expensive, the rooftop skybar is not cheap, and the tourist information at the front desk is also expensive. Breakfast was average. There are some places to eat nearby. The good thing is that the attitude of the service staff is okay and the room cleaning is quite timely. I feel like I might choose to stay directly in Ao Nang or Railay next time I come here.

Dusit Thani turned out to be our best decision when we planned our trip to krabi. It’s one of the best resorts we stayed in till date. The property is huge but in a stay of just 2 days, we couldn’t even roam around the whole property. Room size is decent, nice washroom, good amenities, okay breakfast for a Indian, not too good for a vegetarian(must hire a Indian chef), but room service, reception staff and all Hotel staff were really good. Swimming pool is amazing. Beach area is just beautiful even at night. The resort beach is a sunset beach so no need to go anywhere else to see the beautiful sunset in krabi. The best of this resort is the Photography Team Ahmed and Marwah. They were the best thing happened to us in Krabi. Thankyou Dusit Thani for making this possible for having Ahmed and Marwah there for us and film us so well that we got the best memories captured for our lifetime. The photo shoot done by Ahmed and Video created by Marwah (an actual surprise) was so amazing that we will cherish all our life. The sunset photography, the beautiful dress and the amazing film created made our whole trip the best till date. Thanks Champions Ahmed and Marwah.. hope to meet you guys on all our trips in future.

This is just a lovely place. From the rooms, the beaches, the service, the food, the landscaping: just about everything is perfect. The two of us stayed in Deluxe Pavilion 309; this had a nice view of the greenery around us from the 2nd floor large window. We preferred not to sit in the patio area on the 1st floor because of a lack of privacy. The two main beaches (Phranang and Railay) are both lovely, we preferred swimming in Phranang and walked on both of them, Phranang was about a 10 minute walk for us and Railay about a 5 minute walk. The walks through the property are just lovely, they have done a fantastic job of landscaping with all kind of tropical plants, but we also took advantage of the golf cart rides when it was raining. The breakfast (which is included) is served till 11 am and has a lot of nice a la carte and buffet style options. We didn't go the Grotto (did not look so special to us and seemed overpriced), but ate at the other two hotel restaurants: Krua Phranang and Raitalay Terrace; both were excellent (and had lovely views of the beach) and we also enjoyed the cocktails at the 4-6 pm happy hour at Raitalay Terrace. The swimming pool is lovely and also has a great veiw of Railay beach. The service at Rayavadee was just exceptional; we want to give a shout out to Joy, who was our server during breakfast, she was just fantastic. We were here during the off-season, the prices are a little lower, and while it did rain a fair amount when were here, we still got to the beach a couple of times a day. All in all, a fantastic stay, we will be back.

Overall it was an awesome stay in Holiday Ao Nang The location is very strategic. The attractions are within walking distance. Got a lot of foods nearby if u are hunting for a good food. We stayed in a pool excess deluxe room. The room not so big but okay for a family of 3. Im suggesting to frequently clean the swimming pool as the water was quite turbid and dirty. Maybe becausesome people came from the beach directly enter the pool. If i go to krabi again, most likely i will stay here again. ❤️

Without question, the most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed at. With our own private villa and private pool overlooking the ocean and Hong Island, we were literally in paradise for our stay. Being welcomed with an incredible view at the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the warmest of staff who were so helpful. Not just with things at the hotel but organizing airport transfers, day trips and anything else we needed. Krabi was great but Banyan Tree, Krabi was sensational. The breakfast buffet has absolutely everything you could wish for, including a make-your-own Bloody Mary/Mimosa station! The Saffron restaurant was exquisite with exceptional cocktails of which I had never heard of and the spa is something out of this world. The hotel looks, feels and even smells amazing every corner you turn. Lighting around the beach bar and beachfront: stunning. Day tour on a private longboat: stunning. Banyan Tree, Krabi: stunning.

We travelled to this resort in April 2023 for 5 nights as a family. I was really looking forward to this as the reviews and hotel looked great! I am going to give a very honest account as to why I am only giving this a 3 star review. You will find a more comprehensive review on my blog site. I will begin with the positives: Rooms: We arrived in the afternoon and had booked two upper sala rooms requesting them to be next to eachother, which they were. Unfortunately sea view had been unavailable. I must say the rooms were lovely! Equipped with all amenities from bottles of water, bathroom supplies, beach bags provided as well as slippers, robes and hard soled sandals too. There is also coffee machine/tea. The upper sala rooms have a gorgeous skylight over the bath, which is not present in the lower sala rooms. Food (initial impression): After freshening up we headed down to Naga terrace restaurant, and ordered a selection of starters. I must say everything was delicious! Deep fried chicken wings, veg tempura, wrapped shrimp with noodle. We were so impressed and were now looking forward to a buffet breakfast spread the next morning (as stated on their website). Beach: Stunning beach, the view of the beach from any angle is just gorgeous. I did read a few mixed reviews before booking, but I had no issues at all. The tide does come in – times of this noted at the towel stand. When the tide is out, yes you can see rocks, but just walk further into the sea, and honestly its soo lovely! Warm ocean like bath water and soft sand. The water is quite clear, there was no sea****, and no sight of any jelly fish on our trip either. You can walk quite far out and it was still only up to our knees. I would most definitely visit this beach again. Immediately past some small rocks there is the Beyond Krabi resort and beach is gorgeous too, soft white sand (but the sea there has more waves). Nakamanda is in a cove so the water is ever so gentle and calm! I loved it. You cannot however, sunbathe on the beach but there are sunbeds etc are instead on the resort just above the ocean, and I found this completely fine (it just comes down to personal preference). Resort Layout: Beautiful layout, everywhere you walk you are surrounded my plants, trees and nature, it really does make it a lovely experience. There are a lot of steps, which can get annoying if you are walking to the lobby a lot, so instead if you go to the towel stand, there is a pathway on the right side, you can walk up there and come straight up to the road (Nakamanda entrance will be on your right) – but I found this a much quicker and easier way to the lobby/road (access to other restaurants etc). We didn’t visit the spa, but did have a peek and this looked fine. The resort overall is clean, beautiful and well kept. Pool: The pool is lovely, warm and comfortable temperature. Close to the sea, so like an infinity pool layout. Service is wonderful, and someone always cleans away towels and bring

We have been visiting a variety of different resorts in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand over the past years and this is possibly one of the better ones we have stayed at. From the collection at the airport and early check in availability to the complimentary meals, location, friendly professional staff and property standard our stay for 13 days was excellent. The Spa is must visit to iron out the COVID work from home muscle spasms. The beach is clean, water warm and view to the islands just amazing. Also a great spot to enjoy the sunset if that’s your thing! The staff are great. Fort and his team met all our needs with no fuss and a friendly smile. This was no better shown than boiled eggs being cooked to specifications and delivered to our table each morning post arrival without even asking. First class service, with thanks to Ma, Pa and Sun for looking after us in a professional way with nothing being an issue. Without hesitation we would recommend this property and are looking forward to our visit next time.

Very good hotel, not big in scale, but the service and environment are great. The breakfast is very rich. The beach is very charming. It should be the best beach area in Krabi except Lanta. Crabs are all over the beach. They are very big and not afraid of people. , the most satisfying hotel in this trip to Krabi
