I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed that gave me a great night’s rest. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch, especially the pool and gym, which allowed me to relax during my trip. The restaurant offered a wide variety of delicious food. Overall, my stay exceeded expectations, and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. The location was really strategically and it's only walking distance to reach Ao Nang beach. The room was super clean, cosy and nice view out from balcony. The swimming pool facilities were good too. The king size bed was super nice and comfortable that you can sleep well every nights. The front desk service was good. The tour planner at the lobby was nice too. You do not worried about the transport to airport as they will help to arrange for you with just only 150baht per pax. Overall, I will highly recommend this resort.

Overall our stay at the Shellsea was disappointing for a 5 star luxury hotel. On the plus side, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable and the reception staff were polite and very helpful. In terms of eating, there are two restaurants but the menu is the same in both places and didnt change at all while we were there. The food was average. Service at the Fin bar at lunchtime was slow and inefficient, often waiting more than half an hour for food and then being served the wrong dish. They ran out of basics such as fries for 3 days in a row and one occasion I was served fish which clearly was off. Staff responded to these events by knocking items off the bill or giving us free fresh fruit but poor service at the Fin bar was a recurring theme. The activities staff were cheery and always willing to try to help but apart from pool aerobics there was little in the way of activities being offered. There were plenty of kayaks available but only two paddleboards, one of which had a split in it and was missing the ankle tether. And there were not enough sun beds which inevitably leads to customers reserving beds with towels first thing in the morning. Also the cushions on the sun beds were old and tired. Perhaps it was because we stayed over New Year. The hotel was offering a gala dinner which for our family of five would have cost nearly £1000! The hotel bars and restaurants closed at 3pm and the shuttle bus didn’t run that evening. Staff seemed preoccupied with preparing for the event for several days before. We booked one boat trip at the hotel reception. We had to wait an hour and a half to be picked up by the boat then when we were dropped back at the pier there was no pick up as arranged so we had to get a taxi. The boat staff were totally disinterested throughout the trip. To be fair we did get a partial refund for this trip thanks to the diligence of Reena at the reception desk. Thank goodness for the God Le restaurant which is a 5 min walk from the hotel as this proved to be one of the eating highlights of our holiday! We definitely won’t return or recommend this hotel to others.

Great hotel. The breakfasts are decent and will please you. The room has a good layout with a free shower and a washbasin. Two pools with towels. A climbing wall and a small but spectacular gym. Cleanliness and silence, I recommend it.

A nice place to stay. Walking distance to the beach. Good customer service. Recommend for those who wanna find a place that pocket friendly, very recommended.

Ok...overall, everything is ok, only that room doesn't have a lift..as I mentioned that the room is on the ground floor and the room next to it and if there is a lift, because my mother's knees are too strong to go up the stairs...my mother had to talk to go down up...

This hotel is absolutely fantastic value for money. Property and rooms are still quite new and in good modern condition. We found the rooms pleasant, spacious, bright and clean, bed was firm but comfy. The only drawback is very low water pressure for the shower and a bit of that typical bad plumbing odour often encountered here. Breakfast was generous and at this price point you are almost paying for the breakfast and getting a free room!!! As a budget option for someone with own transport, this can't be beaten for value.

We enjoyed our stay a lot and probably would have stayed two days even more, but unfortunately they were booked out. We also had a special request in our booking and they didn’t ignore it. In the room you have everything that you need - a fridge, TV and even a hairdryer. Most important part is the bed and we liked it a lot..I read before we went that some people found the bed very hard, but for us it was perfect and we had a very good sleep. WiFi worked great (watched Netflix without problems) and room was very clean - no strange stains on the sheets or anything like that. Also the location is ideal for Krabi town, because in front of the hotel there is a market where you can get food (rice with crispy chicken and salad) starting from 35 Baht and 7/11 is just next to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

A friend who has lived in Krabi for 30 years recommended The Greenry to me. I was considering booking on Riley Island and enjoy the beaches (at 2000 to 3000 Thai baht per night). That rins about 60 to 100 usd per night. So grateful I stayed her in Krabi Town. I have gone to Ao Nong beach 3 days in a row. The resturants are great along the beach. I can walk, bike or grab a (Rot Thaw) which is so cheap. The back of it has side seating and it is about 50-60 baht (about $1,50 usd) If you want to go alone than its more. I love this place. Nothing fancy but the owner Bang speaks English and they have a great staff. There is an elevator and stairs for their 4 floors. There is no iron or blow dryer. Bring your own. They do not serve breakfast but from what I can see, they must have before Covid. Have grace as these hotels get back on their feet. I paid 500 Thai baht per night. That's $15 per night. The rooms are a good size. There is lovely outdoor tropical seating/tables and chairs to sit under ceiling fans. It's worth it! This may be my regular place to stay. Lot's of highly rated restaruants and cafe's in walking distance. Very Covid safe and Sha approved!

Krabi SeaBass is a gem! Impeccably clean & superb customer service. The owner's attention to detail is truly remarkable. Its riverside location in the city is perfect for long tail boat trips to Koh-Klang's seafood dining and enjoying the nightlife. Highly recommended!
