The hotel is the on the verge of old town, pretty far away. It's okay for business travel. I like it because the room is bigger comparing to other four star hotels in downtown.

Lovely hotel, rooms good size, cleaned every day, staff are helpful, breakfast in the morning lot’s to choose from, restaurant in the hotel makes really nice food, can’t fault it in any way, a shopping centre across from the hotel, sightseeing bus stops outside the hotel frequently, gift shop inside the hotel has well, spa really nice and swimming pool

Average hotel. Good walk to the old town No decaf coffee or soya milk at breakfast Breakfast mainly the same everyday but not too bad. We didn’t use the swimming pool as it was dated and uninviting to say the least. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable The toiletries were good but a struggle to get the contents out. The pack lunch provided was good apart from the chocolate croissants which tasted not right so they ended up in the bin The biggest issue with a very large group staying at the hotel who for 3 of our 4 nights were in and out of each rooms from 11pm to 2am and being very loud with no consideration for other guests. On our departure from the hotel at 2.45am they were all downstairs in the bar/reception area being extremely loud which the poor receptionist had to put with. Where was the leader of this group? Why was they up at this late and being loud? Why was the management of the hotel to sort it out? For this reason we will not be returning to this hotel again on our next visit to Krakow We didn’t use the restaurant as we found excellent and cheaper restaurants in the old town and the Jewish area too

Lovely hotel , breakfast was plentiful, average prices in the bar , pool is a bit small but to be honest we didn't go for that so didn't bother us , hubby went down just to cool down after a long day , the hotel is about 45 min from maim Square which seems a lot but its a lovely walk and plenty to see on the way , or the tram stop and bus stops are near by .

Excellent hotel, with clean, warm, comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Good and not expensive bar. Nice swimming pool. Well-located on the river Vistula with easy walk to the Old Town or to the charming town of Podgorze on the other bank. First-rate shopping mall with large supermarket just round the corner. Strongly recommended.

We experienced bad costumer service. We asked for early check in, but they did not even try to help us. They had avalible room from the day before, so they should have clean room for us early. But they where rude to us and not even try to listen to us. This is sad since we have stayed her twice a year for several years. We will find a nother hotel next time.

Great hotel very clean and beds comfortable Staff were all very obliging and friendly The barman was lovely and made us very comfortable Meals very reasonable Really enjoyed our time here and in Krakow The history of what happened during the war was terrible

Everything about this hotel was more than we had expected. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. There is a great little bar who were happy to make up cocktails for our group of 6. There is a snack bar which was handy for purchasing last minute snacks if you are going on a trip. Our rooms were on the top floor (6th floor) with lovely river views. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided every day. There is tea and coffee plus they give you a bottle of still and a bottle of sparkling water every day. Breakfast was great! A fantastic selection of continental and cooked items as well as cereals, fruit, pancakes and fresh rolls. We visited the spa one afternoon. There is a sauna and a steam room as well as a pool. We knew in advance the jacuzzi wasn’t working. Our only (minor) grumble was that the water was very cold so we didn’t linger! My husband and I had dinner our final evening in the hotel restaurant which was excellent. The location of the hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the Jewish Quarter or about 25 minutes walk to the old town. Ubers are only about £4 though so it’s not a problem. There is also a large shopping centre 5 minutes away. We had a fantastic stay at The Hotel Galaxy and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a comfortable stay in Krakow

Very good location, close to the market where you can eat, go to the cinema or do some shopping, literally 3 minutes on foot.. It's about 25 minutes on foot to the center and the market square, but you can see a lot along the way.. It's good that it's not in the center. because it's quiet and people don't move around

We did this as a last minute trip. We got a suite which we thought was great value. Very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed breakfast thought it was a good spread, maybe if you’re a fussy eater you would struggle but there was a good variety so I feel like it catered to everyone. The spa, pool and jacuzzi were great and we really made the most out of making it a relaxing break too. It is a bit of a walk but taxis and public transport are so cheap and reliable that I don’t feel like it took up much of our time. I found the staff relatively friendly and helpful. If we got such a good deal there again I would choose this hotel too but only if we got the suite again!

Booked a 4 day trip for my daughters birthday emailed hotel a week before requesting a twin room over looking the river on one of the higher floors if possible they advised they would do there best to accommodate. Arrived at hotel given room on 5 th floor happy days. Opened room door to find on double bed not really suitable for Dad and 20 year old daughter .. Phoned reception who was helpful few mins later gave us twin room on 2nd floor Thursday night music playing ALL NIGHT until 7am - contacted reception they said it would get turned down .. Friday the same all night until 7am ( no exaggeration ) - contacted reception they advised come a collect some ear stoppers which I then visited reception and lady looked at me blank saying they had none! Saturday even worse. I spoke to reception again and they offered to change my room on Sunday night we had been out all day at zacophane and thermal baths ( great trip) and was too tired to change we were leaving Monday anyway. Music still playing on Sunday although not as loud. The pool and sauna was nice jacuzzi was broke and steam room not working very well. Location a bit out the way for the old town but I was aware of that anyway taxis are so cheap.. Breakfast quite poor no egg station bacon intermittent did not really cater for English clientele in my opinion No milk or creamer in the rooms for drinks. Very dissapointed with this hotel and had very little sleep for 4 nights was glad to get home for some peace. Other than that krakow is a lovely city and will return but not to the disco hotel in the galaxy of noise.
