Excellent location of the hotel, within walking distance of all the sights. Close to the train station and the Krakow Gallery. The room is not big, but clean. The only thing is that the refrigerator did not work. The wifi worked fine.

We travelled as a group of 5 friends. Two couples and one single man. All rooms were identical, very small, small double bed against a wall, which I don't think I've ever come across in all the travelling we've done. It was a clean room but tiny. As stated in previous reviews, the hotel is situated in quite a run down road and looks quite shabby but has a lot of character if you look past all the graffiti. Staff are friendly and helpful but unless you put a sign on the door ( which we didn't have!) to say you want the room cleaned, it won't happen. Also, be mindful of the large amount of stairs in the hotel ( for those with mobility issues) and there are no lifts. We couldn't understand that despite having a dining room, no food was served? Lovely cafe/ coffee shop on the busy junction on corner. Beautiful food and ambience. Very basic but clean and quiet.

I was a bit nervous reading some of the reviews, but there was nothing to worry about in the end! We stayed for a week in Novemeber. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was always hot. Radiators were easy to use and worked, so we were always a good temperature. The staff were friendly and helpful. We slept brilliantly each night, the black out blinds on the room are great. The location is as it is, the street isn't the poshest ever, but we had no issues. It was very convient for getting to Jewish District, Old Town, and there were a huge number of resturant a 10 minute walk away. There's a telly, a fridge, hair dryer and safe in the room. There's coffee and tea, and a kettle. One small thing, the pillows were a bit too big. And my partner struggled a bit with them. Possibly some smaller pillows could be available?

Stayed in this hotel in room 202. Didn’t know what to expect at first with all the reviews. Can honestly say It’s a lovely hotel. Yes it needs some work doing to it but it’s clean, friendly staff & had everything you needed. Water was always hot in the shower bed was really really comfy and the room even had Netflix and amazon prime on the tv. We didn’t get the breakfast so couldn’t say what that is like. Yes the area around the hotel is abit grim and worn down but unfortunately the whole of the area is like that and it’s not just the road the hotel is on. I would 100% recommend for somewhere cheap and cheerful to put your head down at night. Couldn’t fault it.

Do not stay here! Hotel is in a side street where half the buildings are deralict. Room was dark, dingy and carpets hadn’t seen a hoover in forever. Maintenance going on at 6-8 in the morning along with other banging of the main door and outside noise. Staff are friendly.

Motivi per cui non tornerei:
- Non c’è l’ascensore (la nostra camera era al secondo piano, fortunatamente non avevamo bagagli ma solo 2 zaini)
- Non c’è l’aria condizionata: nella camera c’era solo un ventilatore ma faceva caldo comunque
- Camera vecchia: il doccino non stava in posizione e era tutto di scarsa qualità, incluso il sapone. L’asciuga capelli era inutilizzabile da quanto era vecchio
- Camera abbastanza pulita tranne il cuscino… era pieno di macchie gialle (federa pulita ma cuscino disgustoso)
- La pulizia della camera (incluso anche il solo rifare il letto) va richiesto alla reception ma non eravamo stati informati al riguardo (alla reception non ci hanno dato informazioni di nessun tipo… al check in solo consegna chiavi e basta)
- Le scale che portano alle camere erano sporche, ogni giorno sempre di più
- Mini frigo non funzionante
- Set di cortesia mancante

Had a lovely time in Krakow. Lovely city. The staff at Leone were lovely, very helpful. We stayed on first floor. Staff helped us upstairs with our luggage as there is no lift. Room is spacious and clean. It's an old building with high ceilings, but is perfectly adequate. You have tea and coffee and just ask for more when you need it. Same with towels,and bedding. If you want bed changed during your stay you ask. Breakfast is at different place but not too far. The breakfast is lovely with plenty choice. The location of Leone is so central. We found our way really easily. The main square is 10 mins walk. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. All in all a lovely short break. Thank you staff at Leone , had a great time

Very disappointed with this hotel. It is located on a very dark and dirty street. Once inside the place is in dire need of an update. The first guy on reception was helpful and friendly but other days, the girl was not really interested in the fact that we had no hot water. This was eventually resolved 24 hours later. Laundry delivered at 5.30am to the hotel and the chatter between the driver and the staff very loud! This happened every morning.
