Pros: Fast WiFi, convenient, about 4 mins walk to MRT Taman Connaught (shaded link bridge), big room & spacious. Free basement parking. Cons: Traffic noise, music from the bar below til late night, think walls (can hear other guests conversation), iron & iron board provided not functional. Toilet & room design abit old. Stained carpet. Centralised Aircond so cannot adjust temperature. The mall beside hotel is dead. Only got furniture shop.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Silka Cheras Kuala Lumpur, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service that made me feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities.

I recently stayed at Silka Hotel Cheras and had a mixed experience. The Deluxe Room was decent and clean but could have been more comfortable. The on-site restaurant had a basic breakfast buffet, and the fitness center was small but adequate. The nearby Cheras Sentral Mall is mostly abandoned, limiting dining and shopping options and making it challenging to find eateries. Service was generally good, with friendly staff. The hotel's proximity to public transportation was a plus, allowing easy access to other parts of Kuala Lumpur. Overall, Silka Hotel Cheras offers a decent stay, but the lack of nearby dining and shopping options due to the abandoned mall may be a drawback.

I really like this hotel. The room is big. Dont know how many time in here. But a bit dissapointed this time room are full and i got 5th floor. Quite noisy because facing main road. But doesnt matter because i still can sleep in happy

one night at silka, it's comfortable and easy for me, I'll definitely choose here again because it's closer to the place of business

Overall is ok, just the hotel is abit old and some renovate will be better. But location reason i choose it

Room is clear. Hotel connected to a mall but most of the shop are closed & left furniture shops & a bistro at ground floor.

Nice hotel. Clean room. Friendly staff. Fast check in. Great stay. Just next to the mall. Easy to find food.

I arrived at the hotel around 10pm that night. When I checked in, the front desk told me that the room type I booked was no longer available 1 king beds and there were only 2 single beds and me accepted this explanation, so I was assigned room 859.When I opened the room door, I saw that the previous guests had left, the room was not cleaned at all, and there was a lunch box on the table. I immediately went downstairs to ask for a room change. Later the front desk apologized to me and arranged room 632 for me. It turned out that this room had no windows. I don’t understand why I was assigned to this room when I changed rooms. Shouldn’t I be assigned to the room I booked? It was already 11pm and I was very tired. I didn’t want to run downstairs to change rooms again. I just regarded myself as unlucky. 🥲 The next morning when I went to the restaurant, a young man at the front desk was helping me check the room number for breakfast reservation. He spoke too softly and I couldn’t hear what he was saying. I asked him to say it again, but he ignored me and asked the guests who came later. He didn’t look for me again. He waited until the later guests entered the restaurant before telling me that he couldn’t find my room number, so I couldn’t enter the restaurant. Why didn't he help me first and then the next guest? When he couldn't find my room number, another boy happened to come over and saw two room numbers written on my card (one of which was deleted) and told his colleague that the reason he let me in was because I changed my room number. 😫First time staying here and it was a very bad experience
