I stayed here on a business trip. It was my first time in Kumamoto, and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which is typical of Kumamoto. I was also very satisfied with the view of Kumamoto Castle from the window. The negative point is that the cleaning around the bath was amateurish, which affected the cleanliness. The amenities were minimal, and there were no shower caps or cotton swabs. The biggest negative was that even though I booked a non-smoking room, the room smelled of cigarettes, and I got a headache the next morning. I put up with it because the view of Kumamoto Castle was good, but the cigarette smell was very unpleasant. Also, the air conditioner temperature cannot be adjusted. Kumamoto is convenient because it has a well-developed bus and tram system, and when I asked the front desk where the bus stop in front of Kumamoto Castle was, I was told that there was no one in the hotel who knew where the bus stop was, which surprised me. Even though it was right nearby... Are the cleaning and front desk staff part-timers?

Even though it's near the downtown area, it's quiet and has a very calming atmosphere. It's within walking distance of shopping and Kumamoto Castle, and the transportation is also convenient, so you can do sightseeing by bus or train. It was also nice to be able to enjoy the view of Kumamoto Castle from the lounge both day and night.

There are free drinks on the top floor, and at night you can see the spectacular Kumamoto Castle. Also, although there isn't a huge selection, they also lend out comic books, which is sure to please book lovers.

It's located at the foot of Kumamoto Castle, and the nearby Uenoura Street is lined with cozy shops, making it an ideal place for business. There is a parking lot at the hotel, but if you just want to leave your car for the night, it may be cheaper to use the paid parking lot behind the hotel (there are 3 or 4 spaces so you don't have to worry about it being full).

The room is located in the city center. You can see Kumamoto Castle when you open the window. It is very convenient to walk to the downtown area in 5 minutes. The nightlife in the downtown area is very developed, similar to Taiwan's Jiaodong.

The view of Kumamoto Castle from the restaurant on the 10th floor was amazing.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the downtown shopping street, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. However, the parking lot is located far away from the hotel and you need to pay for it yourself. There is free coffee in Datang in the morning.
