Kumamoto Washington Hotel Plaza Reviews

It is a 8-minute walk to Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal and Gyomu Supermarket (they are close to each other). Super convenient!!! Also Kumamoto Washington Hotel Plaza has Netflix which is a great way to unwind after a day's travel. However, the housekeeping forgot to clean out the fridge in which the previous traveller had left behind a box of pre-packed cooked veggies and slices of sausages.

It is located close to the Sakuramachi Bus Terminal and there is a Shimotori nearby, so it seems very good for sightseeing. I used it for one day because the first train from where I live was too late, and I was able to check out early in the morning freely, which was nice. The accommodation was clean and it was bigger than other hotel single rooms, which was nice. There was a slight dusty smell rather than a fluffy smell from things like towels, but I don't think it was annoying.

The advantage is that the hotel is very close to the shopping street and Kumamoto Castle, so it is very convenient to go shopping and eat. Facilities: The room is small. Although the bathroom is clean, the facilities are old and yellowed. The toilet exhaust is not good, and it feels stuffy when going to the toilet and taking a shower. Room carpet cleanliness is average Service: Two people staying in a room are only given one room card, which is a bit inconvenient.

I stayed here for work, and the location was great as it was close to the downtown area! The breakfast buffet was also delicious!
