Kumamoto Kita Ward Hotels

I was worried that the quality of the spring was high and I stayed. The building is old and faces the road and the location is one now. I stayed at the main building, but I was disappointed with the deteriorated curtain in the room. I was worried about the tension, but I went to the hot spring. The hot water in Torotro was sulfur in the fragrance, and it was the best feeling, and the evaluation of the quality of the spring was high. The dressing room was cleaned well, and the inner hot water and the open air were very clean. There are ４ rental baths that can be bathed many times for free, and there is a cute open-air bath in the large inner bath, and it was possible to enjoy the leisurely high quality hot water. The meal was delicious with a lot of items, but it was very volume, and the master of the big meal was full. However, it was a pity that the speed of the dish was too fast, and the person who eats it was hurried. I want you to put out the warm dish at the time when you can eat it warmly. The stomach was satisfied and the hot spring Sanmai was in the rental bath. And the room with the impression of the deteriorated curtain was strong, and I noticed that the tatami mats were new, and the ceiling and the ridge were newly renewed. Of course, there are some old parts such as furniture, but the cleaning was also clean. The impression of the curtain is surprisingly large ～ so I hope the curtain is new? I thought. The staff 々 didn't think it was very friendly, but I was able to spend it without any problems. I think I will repeat it again because the price setting is conscientious.

The hotel is quite new and clean. The only downside is the room is very small and we have problems organising our 2 luggages. The hotel should have put some consideration during design stage to the room layout for guests with 2 medium luggages. Parking is chargeable at 1200 yen daily.

Stayed in a room with an open-air bath. The room was clean and easy to spend. There is a tatami mats, so you can go go go. The bed is a bit hard, but it is not difficult to sleep. The open-air bath can hear the sound of the car because it is all over the city, but there is a cherry blossom and it is not visible from the surroundings, and the curtain for completely blocking is also installed, so if you are concerned, you can use it. The water was clean and easy to use. The outlet is hardly close to the floor, under the TV, under the bed, the bathroom and the air cleaner. If the charging cable is short, the tablet will be charged at the bed. If the charging cable is long, you can extend it from the TV and put the tablet on the tatami mats to charge. It was because it was a room near the coin laundry on the 3 floor, and I heard the sound of the washing machine. However, I was able to spend it without worrying about it. It is also convenient that the next door is seven eleven. I didn't use breakfast buffet because of corona. The hotel receptionist is a sister in a T-shirt, and there is no atmosphere called ”Hotel Man”, but I was able to check in and check out smoothly, and there is no rudeness. It was a very good hotel with location, newness and cleanliness.

This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

We took Highway Bus (2.5hr) from Fukuoka Airport to Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal. Koko Hotel is directly connected to the bus terminal. Hotel was opened in June 2022 and there were now clear signages to Koko Hotel as we alighted from the bus. We took escalator to the 2F and take the lift to the 14F where the Hotel lobby is. From the lobby, we get a clear view of Kumamoto Castle. Our Superior Twin Room is very spacious and comfortable. We paid Y32,310 for 2 nights. It is 10 mins walk to the Castle, and 10 mins taxi ride to Kumamoto Station. Amu Plaza next to Kumamoto Station has plenty of eateries. Sakuramachi has Family Mart, restaurants and shops.

I stayed ２ at the end of the year. It was my first stay, but I wanted to relax and stay again. The hotel is over ９ floor, but the glass is often used and the view is bright everywhere. Creation that I have never seen before. A mechanism that cannot be put in the room key in the lodging zone. The building is a corridor style, overlooking the garden and chapel on the ９ floor, but it is lit up at night and this is beautiful again. The rooms are a bit vertical, but I was able to spend calmly. I liked my wife very much. The public bath is also like a fashionable and splendid hot spring hotel. Maybe more. There was a drum coin laundry next to the entrance of the public bath, and it was convenient for consecutive nights. Breakfast was a buffet, but the buffet on New Year's Day is a great word. When I arrived at the entrance with the service of the soup and arrived at the seat, the miscellaneous boiling was carried first. The soup was very delicious. In addition to the usual buffet, there were special dishes for New Year's Day, but there were many fresh sashimi, kazukono, shrimp, etc. There was red rice in rice. All were delicious and ate a lot. I went by car, but I went directly from the underground parking lot to the front floor and the parking fee was very good. Moreover, I think it is the best value for money in a hotel in Kumamoto City with a 24-hour parking setting. My wife started saving money because she wanted to go to the end of this year.

In Japan, the rooms are quite large and the environment and services are very good! It's a 10-minute walk from Kumamoto Station. It's still quite a distance with luggage. If there are many people, it's recommended to take a taxi, which is a little over 1,000! It’s also very convenient to take a taxi to Kumamoto Castle or near Tsuruya Department Store, and the price is basically a little over a thousand! When going to Aso Kurokawa Yufuin, there is a bus stop right at the door, which is super convenient! There is no convenience store nearby, and even a vending machine has to be found outside the hotel, which is inconvenient!

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

The location is in front of Kumamoto Station. There are restaurants and convenience stores in Kumamoto Station premises, so you can eat and drink without going to downtown areas such as kasushima Cho. Stay at the upper stage of the partition room type for 1 people. There was one lighting, USB connector and outlet in the space. I think most luggage will enter because the locker is large. I think wifi was good. The shower room and powder room are large and clean. Drinking and drinking are available in the food and drink space in the back of the front desk. There is a pot with hot water and a microwave oven, and a bar where you can drink alcohol is also provided. There is an outlet in the eating and drinking space, so you can eat and drink while charging your electronics. The difficulty is the sound problem. Because it is not a private room but a partition room and a dormitory, the sound of other guests (such as the opening and closing sound of the locker in the early morning of the midnight cherry blossoms) is echoed. The earplug is an amenities, but there is no effect near the person who has a big ibiki. Please stay after recognizing that there is such a thing that people who care about sound are concerned. However, compared to other dormitories and capsule hotels, I think there is a cleanliness and cleanliness that draw a line. Bicycle rental is also done and 500 yen for 8 ~ 20 o'clock use.

A lovely hotel to stay in close to Kumamoto Castle. The rooms are nice and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful. Bath areas on the 12th floor are also quite nice and have a range of offerings inside. Breakfast was included with the price we paid, however, all the food was a little tasteless, if paying for breakfast, it is easy to go downstairs and get something but I’d probably go somewhere else if paying.
