Hotels near Obiyama Sanchome Park, Kumamoto

I stayed at the introduction of an acquaintance. It is very clean because it has just opened this summer. Security is also safe because the elevator does not move without the key to the room. Unfortunately, I couldn't see Kumamoto Jo castle from my room, but there was a table and chair on the rooftop, and I was able to enjoy Kumamoto Jo castle at night. The room is equipped with a lot of outlets and ＵＳＢ, and it is not troubled by charging mobile phones. The clothes in the building were unique. Laughs. It became a memory of the trip. The front desk was also kind.

Location is unbeatable and it’s great I can park the car in the hotel with very reasonable charge. As a gentle note, hotel car park only accept cash on the ground level. The onsen is really good and open till mid night, which is great. The room is comfortable and clean.

Chambre correcte, salle de bain fonctionnelle, bon buffet de petit-déjeuner avec une multitude de choix convenant aussi à des non japonais. Exigences de chambre parfaitement respectées. Absence de parking dans l’hôtel . Les parkings situés en face sont hors de prix, mais la réception a des accords avec un partenaire situé un peu plus loin pour 1200 yens les 24 heures. A négocier avant séjour ou sur place. Je remercie les 2 personnes qui ont essayé de résoudre une demande de réservation de ferry, que je ne pouvais effectuer seul sur deux websites complètement en japonais.

Stayed in a room with an open-air bath. The room was clean and easy to spend. There is a tatami mats, so you can go go go. The bed is a bit hard, but it is not difficult to sleep. The open-air bath can hear the sound of the car because it is all over the city, but there is a cherry blossom and it is not visible from the surroundings, and the curtain for completely blocking is also installed, so if you are concerned, you can use it. The water was clean and easy to use. The outlet is hardly close to the floor, under the TV, under the bed, the bathroom and the air cleaner. If the charging cable is short, the tablet will be charged at the bed. If the charging cable is long, you can extend it from the TV and put the tablet on the tatami mats to charge. It was because it was a room near the coin laundry on the 3 floor, and I heard the sound of the washing machine. However, I was able to spend it without worrying about it. It is also convenient that the next door is seven eleven. I didn't use breakfast buffet because of corona. The hotel receptionist is a sister in a T-shirt, and there is no atmosphere called ”Hotel Man”, but I was able to check in and check out smoothly, and there is no rudeness. It was a very good hotel with location, newness and cleanliness.

I few steps away from the station. The building looks renovated from an older one by the inside facilities are up to standards. I always love the breakfast where they include local dishes and materials.

It was a awesome stay at Koko Hotel Premier Kumamoto. We parked our car at the multi story parking building opposite and just walk over with our lugguage. As I have already read some reviews in advance, we have no problem finding the hotel but I must say the sign board is a little not eye catching and can easily miss it. (can see my photo below). Everything is comfortable there and I just have to make space for my luggage opening which is not much of an issue. The location is so convenient and can easily walk over to the shopping area for our dinner with many choices. We enjoyed our stay and there is also drinks vending machine on the level we stayed. Will definitely recommend it for it super convenient location :) btw is near to the Kumamoto castle too!

Near the historic site but not so near to the JR station. It was a rainy day so we had some trouble moving our luggage to the JR station. The hotel itself is good. Rooms are not big but its good enough. Onsen was very crowded after dinner but there were lovely treats prepared for us.

Delicious Food: The hotel's restaurant offers a wide range of delectable dishes, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Guests can indulge in a variety of culinary delights. 5. Impressive Facilities: The hotel boasts impressive facilities such as a gym, swimming pool, spa, and business center, providing guests with options for relaxation and convenience. The Bad: 1. Noise Issues: Some guests have reported noise disturbances from neighboring rooms or outside the hotel, which can disrupt sleep and relaxation. 2. Slow Wi-Fi: The hotel's internet connection can be slow and unreliable at times, making it inconvenient for guests who rely on a stable internet connection. 3. This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

I stayed ２ at the end of the year. It was my first stay, but I wanted to relax and stay again. The hotel is over ９ floor, but the glass is often used and the view is bright everywhere. Creation that I have never seen before. A mechanism that cannot be put in the room key in the lodging zone. The building is a corridor style, overlooking the garden and chapel on the ９ floor, but it is lit up at night and this is beautiful again. The rooms are a bit vertical, but I was able to spend calmly. I liked my wife very much. The public bath is also like a fashionable and splendid hot spring hotel. Maybe more. There was a drum coin laundry next to the entrance of the public bath, and it was convenient for consecutive nights. Breakfast was a buffet, but the buffet on New Year's Day is a great word. When I arrived at the entrance with the service of the soup and arrived at the seat, the miscellaneous boiling was carried first. The soup was very delicious. In addition to the usual buffet, there were special dishes for New Year's Day, but there were many fresh sashimi, kazukono, shrimp, etc. There was red rice in rice. All were delicious and ate a lot. I went by car, but I went directly from the underground parking lot to the front floor and the parking fee was very good. Moreover, I think it is the best value for money in a hotel in Kumamoto City with a 24-hour parking setting. My wife started saving money because she wanted to go to the end of this year.
