Service was very poor. Water tap at wash basin was not working. Tv not working. Very old ac which requires 16even for normal climate.

The hotel's location was excellent. However (1) at first they said they did not have my allotted room, so upgrade to an ac room. When my mum intervened, suddenly the triple room appeared (tactics to make more money from the customer)
(2) the room was filthy. The sheets were dirty. The pillows were smelly. They had not swept or mopped the floor. (3) service was below average. We just wanted an overnight stay with some good sleep.

My experience with the murudhan hotel is good. Perfect for a solo trip for work purposes. Good ambience, good room service, walkable distance to the railway station. Everything is perfect. But the wifi connection can be improved.
