Good location

Hotel was really nice and also there was breakfast included the rooms are nice it was slightly difficult to find hotel first time because there are many hotels nearby but I would say it was nice

Generally, the room looks aesthetically very nice and is more than worth the cheap price. It has window curtains you can open and close with a switch next to the bed, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash is nice, etc. Most of the room is very well cleaned as well. However, there were some small problems in my room, like the lights not turning on or off unless you press the switch right, a strange giant yellow/orange stain in the carpet, and some outlets are so worn out you can't charge your phone. There are a few things that cost money, like a special tea package, bath towel, etc. that make sense to charge for, but there's also things that are free disposables at other hotels (e.g. razors) but aren't free here. Each breakfast is a carton of milk, and some "Denmark bread" given when you check in due to covid policies. It may or may not fill your stomach, depending on how much you eat.

The hotel isn’t expensive. Except the breakfast we were satisfied with the hotel. Receptionists are nice and helpful people.

It really disgusted me. There were cockroaches at the head of the bed. I moved the bedside table away. It was so dirty and full of bugs. Why didn't they disinfect it? Or did they only consider the atmosphere for couples? For a hotel over 200 yuan, I think any hotel I can find in Kunming is better than yours. I also wanted to take a bath to relax at night. What's the water quality? Can you adjust it? The overall experience was terrible. Because I came back from Hangzhou that day and went back and forth between Wenshan and Kunming, I didn't go to the front desk to complain.

The most convenient thing about staying in this hotel is that the Huaqianfang business district is downstairs, where you can find all kinds of food. Its underground parking lot is free (directly opposite Colorful Yunnan First City Street is the underground garage entrance and exit, and the 11th building has a negative parking lot. The second floor belongs to his family). This hotel is very particular about lighting control, so you need to get familiar with it. There is wifi in the room, I can't see where the router is, but the signal is super good. The power plug at the bedside of the room is relatively smart - the power will be cut off as soon as the mobile phone is charged - probably for safety reasons to prevent you from charging your mobile phone at the bedside. There is a radio head on the big table in front of the window, and you can charge anything. It has a WeChat official account with people on duty 24 hours a day. For example, if you want to leave the store, tell yourself the license plate number on the official account, put the room card in the room, get off the bus, and drive away. A slight drawback is that the room comes with complimentary sand spring water, but there are no paid tea bags and the like - Yunnan is the capital of Pu'er tea, so just getting some leftovers is enough for tourists from all over the world to feel comfortable. But the flaws do not hide the virtues. At the end of this year, I drove from Chengdu to Banna again, and naturally I went directly to its home. hehe. For some unknown reason, the central air conditioning in the room I stayed in tonight was not very effective.

There are many restaurants nearby, mostly snacks. The hotel is clean and quiet. I recommend the nearby night snack stalls.

We booked 8 rooms. Some rooms have poor water pressure, no toilet paper in the bathroom, no shower gel, etc. Minor problems. Overall, it's okay The location is very convenient. You can find everything to eat and play within walking distance.

I recently stayed at Kunming Star S Hotel and was a little disappointed with my experience at this hotel. First of all, the type and quality of the supplies are questionable. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are all randomly put together from the supermarket. There is not even hand soap or small soap. Secondly, the comfort of the bedding is very poor. The thickness of the quilt is moderate, but the texture of the sheets, quilt cover and pillowcases makes me feel uncomfortable all night long. Very inconsistent with the hotel's 4-diamond positioning. Furthermore, the quality of breakfast was disappointing. The food was of a single type and of poor quality, and all was empty before meal delivery time, so I had to ask my aunt to cook rice noodles. Auntie was washing dishes and cooking rice noodles at the counter on the left. It is really speechless to come over and clear the table before the guests have finished their breakfast so that they can get off work early! Overall, I think the service quality of Kunming Star S Hotel needs to be improved. It is recommended that the hotel pay attention to details and improve the quality of supplies, bedding and breakfast, so as to satisfy guests.
