"This was by far the best hotel/guesthouse experience we had during our trip to Yunnan. The room came with a Xiao AI smart speaker, the bathroom was clean, and the water pressure was excellent. They also offer airport pick-up and drop-off, which is perfect for guests catching early flights the next day. On the day we checked in, they even gave us complimentary flower cakes. Employee number 666 provided amazing service!"

"👍 Rooms No strange odors, clean beds, and ample heating. Separate rooms for men and women. Only 6-bed and 8-bed dorms are available, offering both heating and air conditioning, water, bath towels, cotton swabs, shower caps, laundry detergent, etc. Each person gets a bed, a luggage space, a locker for towels, a small compartment for miscellaneous items, a lockable slipper cabinet (yes, they provide free slippers!), and a hanger. Shared bathrooms, three per floor, equipped with shower gel, shampoo, and hairdryers. Separate toilets for men and women. Two per floor, with toilet paper provided. 👍 Common Areas The common areas feature: A pool table and a ping-pong table, both free to use. Pool tournaments on Wednesdays, ping-pong tournaments on Saturdays, with prizes. A dining area and a place for takeout food. Smelly food is not allowed upstairs. There's an outdoor area where smoking is permitted. A KTV system is available. Occasionally, guest singers perform. During my stay, someone played guitar and sang every night. It was wonderful! Laundry and drying machines are provided on the first floor. Hangers are available on every floor for drying clothes, free to use. 👍 Cat There's a friendly cat named Laifu at the hotel, happy to be petted by anyone. 👍 Front Desk The front desk staff are very responsible. They provide information about nearby attractions. It's very close to Cuihu Lake, and Daguan River is right outside. They remind guests not to disturb others at night. After each check-in, they also send a private message and post in a group chat, reminding guests not to eat in the rooms or leave belongings scattered around. As a result, the rooms are very clean and odor-free. Common spaces are tidied daily, keeping them very neat. 👍 Guests The guests staying here are also very well-behaved. It's incredibly quiet after 11 PM. 🤔 However 1. There are four floors, and no elevator. 2. The hot water supply can be a bit inconsistent. Overall, my experience was 5⭐️ Because the rooms are clean. There's heating; I even slept in a tank top at 7°C (45°F) in the room and wasn't cold. The rules are well enforced. It's very quiet at night, allowing for peaceful sleep. The guests are of high quality."

"This was my first stay at an Atour hotel, and it was a very comfortable experience. The staff at the front desk were all enthusiastic and polite. They even gave us small gifts during both check-in and check-out, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The room itself was spotless, the bedding was conducive to a good night's sleep, and the breakfast spread was quite generous. Any small requests we had were promptly fulfilled by the front desk. The hotel's location is excellent, right outside Nanping Old Walking Street and not far from the main attractions around Cuihu Lake. Overall, I'd give it a big thumbs up!"

"The Ibis Hotel Nanping Street offers excellent value for money! The location is super convenient, close to shopping areas, making it easy to grab a bite or shop. The rooms are spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding for a great night's sleep. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast is plentiful. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my stay and will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Kunming!"

"I arrived quite late, and the hotel proactively upgraded my room, so a big thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk – I forgot to ask her name! The location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to get anywhere. The security guard at the entrance was also very friendly, recommending local specialty restaurants and always greeting us warmly, which was a nice touch. I do suggest improving the breakfast service a bit. On holidays, it gets crowded, and we had to sit in the outer bar area, which meant walking a long way every time to get food. On the second day, I asked for a large mug, but they said none were clean yet, only small ones. Having to keep refilling a tiny cup for coffee by walking back and forth several times was quite tiring…"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, close to shopping and dining. The room was clean and had no strange smells, but the best part was the incredibly thoughtful service. The staff at the front desk, both the guys and girls, were not only good-looking but also spoke so kindly. "We got upgraded to suite with one bedroom for free! Could never imagine we will get this experience. The room was so big and comfortable for family with toddler. My kid was happily running around here and there playing with her toys because of the huge space. The location was nearby Shuncheng Street where we can access the halal foods and also very nearby to the famous Nanping Pedestrian Street. Cleanliness and hospitality was top tier. We thank the hotel for the nice opportunity for our family :)"

"The hotel is just an 8-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of great food options nearby. They even gave us a free room upgrade when we checked in, and the room was spotless. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly. There was a small incident where my husband realized he'd left his phone in the room after checking out. He rushed back, and the staff had already secured it at the reception for us. We're really grateful! We'll definitely be staying here again when we return to Kunming in 14 days."
