I had a good stay. The hostel is generally clean. Some of the staff speak very little english. They help me carry my luggage during checkin to the elevator. The breakfast is great. The have restaurant with nice food. Amazing view from rooftop. They provide self laundry service including dryer (with payment alipay or wechat). Hairdryer available. Slippers are provided. Shower cream & shampoo available. If you traveling from kunming railway station you can order Didi (uber/grab in China) or taxi if you want relax ride. Put the address: 92 huashan west road. Or by metro. From the station entrance/ exit, there’s metro line 1, you have to transfer to line 2, then line 3 and last one line 5. Line 5 exit is just a walking distance from the hostel. Google map is working fine for me. Walking distance to green lake park (cuihu park) and the ancient city.

Nice hotel to stay in Kunming area, a little bit walk to Kunming old street, the room not so big, bare to put put luggage but is ok for 1night stay, chilling and youngster vibes

Overall: very good exerpience, particularly as a hostel. Would recommend to others. Pros: - Friendly, communicative atmosphere with staff and other guests, essential fot a good hostel - bilingual service, mostly at front desk but elsewhere too - regular weekly events - cheap and convenient postcards for sale in the lobby to send home or have for a keep sake - rooms have sufficient amenities - food and drink option variety and affordability - excellent location near cuihu (pretty lake district with good food options nearby) and the kunming laojie (old street) - some basic things like water and convient noodles are sold at fair prices at the front desk - information about tours and travel available in the lobby - elevator available to access most rooms, though some stairs will be necessary in the lobby Cons: - some of the weekly events didn't seem to occur at all - cleanliness wasn't perfect: some areas of the cafe have lots of flies and some parts of the room, such as the bathroom, had a bit of grime - peanuts on a caesar salad? no! (I'm allergic to peanuts and didn't think to ask if they put peanuts on a caesar salad because it just isn't normally done) - the prepaid breakfast options are too limited. some additional options for what toppings could go in the noodles or what fruit or jam you receive with the western breakfast would help a lot - quality of some food items are just so so - occaisionally a little noisy in the rooms (but that's just because a group of kids stayed nearby + it's a hostel so it's almost to be expected)

A nice hostel. Friendly staff, clean rooms that are nice, quiet atmosphere, I would recommend! Only complaint is the restaurant is lacking vegeterian options & is unbudging if you request a meal be modified to accommodate vegeterian: 'Can you make the steak pizza & replace the steak with pieces of tomato?' 'Can you make the porc fried rice & just not add in the pork?' 'No.' 😶

Location is superb. Near to metro and park. Clean. Housekeeping every day with comp water and toiletries. Service is fantastic. Staff helped me with Alipay setup. Definitely will be back if I revisit Kunming.

The location is near the metro. It's just 5 minutes walk. Easy to find this property. The girl at the front desk when I checked in is enthusiastic to help me. She almost doesn't speak English but she's had a lovely service mind. This property is so close to the green lake park. I spend the time from this hostel to the park just 4 minutes walk. It's worth to stay here and the price can afford for the solo travelers who want to save cost like me.

This place is located in a short walk from Metro Station, near Cuihu Park and Yuantong temple. The room was clean and comfortable.

This hostel immediately make you feel warm and welcome! Close to the city center, it is easy to find and the staff is friendly (and speak English if you are a foreigner!). The hostel has a lovely lounge, rooftop and terrace where you can sit, enjoy the hostel's food and drinks (very good and affordable) and relax. I stayed in a 6-people all female dorm room, which was a little bit small but it is enough, especially since you have so many other places in the hostel where you can hang out. The bed is comfortable, the shower and toilet are outside of the room but easily accessible and clean. I had no problem with using the washing machine and dryer provided either. I only stayed one night but the hostel made me wish I had planned more time in Kunming! I will definitely book here again if I go back to Kunming.

The towel rack is installed too close to the toilet that I knocked and bruised my head after using the toilet. Otherwise everything else was good.

Great hostel with good amenities (washing machine, own cafe and restaurant, hostel activities), would always come here again!

The hostel is located near the Green Lake Park and is a very pleasant place. Large cosy room and quite clean.

Excellent location next to the park and to the major sights. Also a VERY nice vibe with people playing and singing in the evenings in the common areas. The staff is extremely nice too. I recommend!
