The hotel is well located and the reception area is pleasant. Rooms were also a good size. Unfortunately we found the non-smoking room smelled of smoke, and parts of the room had not been cleaned well. The reception staff were responsive and changed our room, and let us amend the dates of our stay.

This is not my first stay and it gives me a feel of going home. Location is good, very convenient and at the same time peaceful and chill. Always my option of stay in Kunming.

Other than location, everything else is superb. If you don't mind taking a taxi or e-hailing, then it's fine. However, e-hailing is an issue for foreigners. You can't register one without a local number due to a payment issue. You need a local bank account to register.
It's more of a condotel. Nearest train station is 30 minutes away walking. There is a small mall next to the hotel.
Besides the room, what I like is also the staff at the counter. They are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. If I am driving I don't mind at all to stay at this place.
