Flying to Kutaisi, the ancient capital of Georgia, the plane was delayed twice. It was supposed to arrive after midnight but arrived at two o'clock. I had to keep informing the owner of the B&B. The owner said readily: I'll be waiting for you! As a result, I arrived at 2:30, and as soon as I walked out of the airport exit, I saw my boss holding my name tag. We chatted all the way to my apartment, and the landlady brought hot tea. Oh my god, I kept them awake now. When I went outside the house early the next morning, I discovered that this place was a paradise. Their garden was so big and beautiful. They lived on the mountain to go to the Bagrates Cathedral, a former world heritage site that was close to my heart. It was only over a hill from where I lived. I saw a program introducing this cathedral on a big TV at a friend's home in Yunnan, and I was inspired to do so. It's a pity that the president ordered repairs and the ancient murals were removed with cement and an elevator was built on the outer wall of the church. Oh my God, it had to be kicked off the World Heritage List! The murals that used to be everywhere are only memories of watching TV! After coming down from the mountain, I went to Grat Monastery in the afternoon, another World Heritage Site in the ancient capital. This place is also undergoing major renovations, but maybe I learned my lesson and didn’t use cement to erase the murals. It’s okay, okay!
