The room is really nice. It's not big, but it's big enough for two people. It's clean and cozy. It comes with tea and coffee. The matcha cookies are delicious. The hotel staff is very nice. I stayed here on my first trip to Kyoto in a long time. I had booked the most affordable room with a shower booth, but it seems they upgraded me without my knowledge, so I was able to relax in the bathtub.
The room was clean and I had a pleasant stay.
There were many tourist spots nearby that were perfect for a stroll, such as Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, and up to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, so it was a fulfilling trip.
I also used the foot bath in the courtyard when I arrived and when I checked out, and the matcha on the lobby floor had a nice atmosphere. It was a hotel I would like to stay at again on my next trip to Kyoto.
