The hotel is just around the corner, very beautiful, the room can see the sea.

When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the staff. The hotel makes a good impression from the outside. Inside, the ambience has gotten a bit dated and is no longer up to date. If you take a closer look, something is falling off everywhere or sockets are sometimes loose. Arriving in the room, one notices the aging door. Inside, the hanging sockets catch your eye, which inspires some respect. Some tiles are missing in the bathroom. And in the know it has open joints everywhere. At breakfast there was a lavish display, but everything was staged very unlovingly. Sometimes the vending machines didn't work. For a four star hotel the end result is very disappointing we were glad to leave. The view on the balcony was actually the best.

Just back from what has become our annual trip to this lovely old hotel. Once again the staff were welcoming and friendly and really made us feel at home. The hotel continues to be upgraded and is looking rather smart with a new breakfast 'Show Kitchen' serving all manner of eggs and the front veranda being refurbished during the time we were there. Loved our stay and can't wait to go back.

This hotel is very old, the staff were not friendly, on the first day my mum came out of the bathroom and shut the door, after a few seconds we heard a huge crash that came from the bathroom. I ran in, to my horror I found the whole window plus the frame on the floor, it landed just where my mum had been standing moments before!! God was looking after us that day , this could have been fatal. I was horrified, I told the receptionist who brushed it off and said he would speak to maintenance. He did not even apologise or ask if we were okay. This is unacceptable behaviour. I also told our cyprus paradise rep, who went and spoke to them to double check the window. Half way through the holiday the main lights in the room stopped working, I told reception and the same man told me to use the small lamps by the mirrors. NO ONE CAME TO FIX ANYTHING. All I can say is WOW.!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY PURPOSES. The view was nice, and it was quiet around the pool. THE ROOM WE HAD WAS FACING THE MAIN ROAD, SO IT WAS VERY NOISY, SO YOU WON'T SLEEP EITHER. NOT THE BEST EXPERIENCE. GOOD LUCK IF YOU ARE STAYING THERE. MISERABLE STAFF TOO.

Since I am physically disabled, I wanted to share my thoughts for the disabled people who would like to stay here. I stayed with my brother for the weekend break. Since I am slightly disabled, I did not have any difficulties, but wheelchair users cannot use the ramps without a companion (it is a bit steep). Since the facility is in the city center, it is close to many locations (E.g. Kyrenia Castle is a 2-minute walk away). There are ramps in many parts of the facility, leading down to the pool. Easy disabled sinks and rooms were not available yet, he said it was in the preparation phase, I think it will be in time for the summer of 2024. Be sure to get information before you go. The rooms are clean and tidy (Make sure to take a converter for the sockets with you, we couldn't think of it, but the reception provided it to us, thank you) The food variety was not much, but it was not small either, and it was delicious, the employees were very attentive, I send my thanks to all of them from Turkey. I don't know if the only thing I'm not happy with is the fact that it's half board, but I would like at least ordinary drinks like ayran and coke to be included in the meal instead of being paid for dinner. I don't think it would cost much. Will I come again? Why not?

A cute hotel in the city centre. Breakfast is served deliciously with fresh bread and pastries. The rooms are adequate but the sea view is fantastic. The sea and the natural pool in front of it should be tried. The service fee is affordable. There is a taxi stand in front, which is an advantage.

Under normal circumstances, we would probably not have stayed at the Dome Hotel, as the reviews that we had seen were not brilliant but, as we were on an escorted tour (Jules Verne's Classic Kyrenia Tour), we did not have much of a choice of accommodation and knew that we would be out on trips most days, which meant that it wouldn’t matter too much if the hotel wasn’t perfect. After having spent a week there, we can say that there are plenty of positive things about this hotel, but we can also see why it might get some poor reviews too. Before our arrival, we were in email contact with the Dome to ask a couple of questions and received prompt and helpful responses. We had advised them that it was our wedding anniversary during our stay and were delighted to find out when we arrived that they had upgraded us from a standard room to a two room junior suite (Room 346). The bedroom on its own was a good size anyway, but having the extra lounge room was very useful as the bedroom storage space was a little restricted. The bathroom was also a good size and had a jacuzzi bath, which was a nice touch, but it was a bit awkward to get in and out of, plus it was difficult to use the shower without getting water everywhere, as the shower screens did not meet in the middle. The bathroom fixtures and fittings were rather tatty and dated, as was the room overall, with dark brown being the main colour present. We really did not like the fact that the room’s doors did not have proper secure locks on them, just a push button on the inside, plus we only had one key, which made things a bit awkward if we were going out separately. We were pleased to have an in-room safe, although it seemed odd that it wasn’t actually attached to anything (so it would have been perfectly possible for someone to steal the entire thing). We didn’t have anything from the mini-bar, but there was at least enough spare room for us to keep our own stuff in there. We really liked having 2 balconies, particularly since we had an unrestricted sea view from both of them. The air conditioning worked well, plus we were able to get a nice breeze through the rooms via the balcony doors. We stayed at the Dome on a half-board basis, which meant that we had breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant each day. The food at both meals was of reasonable quality, but not very exciting or varied over the week. We were very surprised to see that the leftover soup from dinner was offered at breakfast the next morning! The puddings at dinner were very good though and we appreciated being able to order fresh omelettes at breakfast. We also liked the fact that bottled water was included with dinner at no extra cost. As the weather was warm during our stay, we chose to eat on the terrace each morning and night, but our experience was often marred by the other guests chain-smoking their way through each mealtime. It would have been nice if some of the tables could have been reserved for non-smokers, such as the

The check in was professional and swift with a warm genuine smile. The location is extraordinary. The Seaview room was beautifully decorated and clean. The bathroom had a full size bathtub to soak in and the verandah was expansive. The bed and pillows were excellent and the towels were nice and fluffy. Finally the breakfast is outstanding with a large selection of hot and cold goodies on offer including made to order omelettes from an open kitchen. We love the place.
