It is far away from other cities, and without transportation, it will become complex. Facilities need to be reformed.

Stayed here for 10 night during the easter break. I'm going to start by saying how disgusted I am that I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded! and I've been home since April 10th! I have tried to call all contact numbers I can find and no one answers my call. I was told my deposit will be sent back immediately when I left. The apartment was okay, cleaned every few days. However, the area around the apartments is very run down, roads are awful. If you are wanting a relaxing holiday where you literally don't want to leave the hotel then it may be okay, it cost us 30 euros to get to the nearest town with restaurants then 30 euros back. The pools are cold very cold my 10 year old didn't mind this, the rest of us did not enjoy it as it was uncomfortably cold. The food is very repetitive and boring we ended up buying from the little shop on site to get by. The entertainment area is way to small for the amount of guests and is indoors so it does get very hot and many people end up stood up. Overall, not 4* the complex is pretty in some areas and the views from apartments are beautiful.

I think this hotel gets a bad rep for things that aren't their fault. We went as a family in 2 different lodges, and I cannot fault the cleanliness of the lodges it was spot on. Yes they are looking a bit tired but the beds were comfy and the aircon worked well, I would just say that there are a few bits missing in the kitchen I.e chopping board, and I would of like some sort of handles in the walk in shower just because it makes the floor slippery, and the shower didn't have alot of pressure but it was still OK. We went bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was lovely lots or choice for everyone, I cant comment on evening meals etc as we were self catering. The kids loved the crater Park, yes the water was a bit cold at the start of the day, but once the sun was out and they started up and down the slides they didn't care. Pizza at the bar was yummy for lunch and lots of drinks variety. I can't comment on the other pools as we didn't use them. Food wise we didn't use the on site supermarket as it was expensive but there is a supermarket not far where you can stock up. On most the reviews there are alot of negative comments re the location the paths,ants etc. So basically I will say make sure you review where you are going lol. Yes this hotel is in the middle of nowhere so yes a car is needed, but the nearest town isn't far. Yes the paths aren't great, but I don't think it's the hotels fault, I think its just been so windy there they have eroded away, as for the ants didn't really see any apart from once, just keep all sugary things in the fridge. Shout out to all the staff you were all really lovely, and the kids loved the mini disco in the evenings, it is on a bit late 8.30pm for the younger kids is a bit late, but holiday meant just a lie in the next morning.

The apartment was a little run down but clean . The sofa bed was full of stains. Bathroom okay, friendly staff!

Hit and miss this place - don’t really write reviews but I would want to express how it went especially with baby’s/ young kids . we went self catering with my 6 year old and 1 year old -Tried the food was okay but not much choice you have to pay for all your family if one doesn’t want to eat which is abit unfair. Supermarket extremely over priced ! The apartment you have to pay for a cot & highchair if you need a microwave for baby milk you have to pay for a microwave too. Arrived at 9pm buggy cart wasn’t available to take luggage so having a few suitcases and a pram was a challenge as no staffed helped and pavements are not “cracked” they are literally smashed to pieces all on the resort so even people with wheelchairs would find it extremely difficult. The only thing that was decent was the crater park plenty of lifeguards about. States that there is five pools yet you only have two one 18+ 10 mins away from the crater park so if you have kids it’s a no go. Also states there is a beach not far I wouldn’t call it a beach as it’s all rocks and rubble. The resort is very isolated so I would 100 per cent recommend to hire a car or you have a free bus that goes into the nearest town which we loved as everything is there. Going back to the apartment the beds were very uncomfortable the shower kept in flooding the bathroom as the drains were bad. Always a bad smell of the drains walking around the resort too. Would we come back again ? Sorry but no

I read good and bad reviews so went with an open mind but my advice is keep away from this awful place. It is tired, dirty and definitely not 4*. Room dirty and needs decorating. Honestly please don't come here as you will regret it. You will be disappointed with everything. Bought bug killer from on site supermarket and it was 12 euros. Had to buy it as bugs on the bed.
