I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was available until 8PM. They had a great location right next to the train and within walking distance of a great nightlife and restaurants. La Spezia is a cute city. It's only a 7 minute train ride to Cinque Terra villages. The shower needs a door, but was spacious and had warm water. I did experience some problems with vaping/ electronic cigarette smoking on site. Unfortunately, some of it seemed to be coming from the cleaning crew. Hotels really need to understand how bad this problem is and how negatively it affects guests, especially people with asthma.

I loved this stay a lot more then some of the hotels in my trip, felt nice having your own key to a building. The room really surprised me, it was really nice and also in such a good spot of la spezia. La spezia surprised me, I was nervous as it seemed a bit rough around the edges but honestly such a lovely stay with trendy bars in every alleyway, just got to explore the streets. 10 min walk to the station which is right on the main Cinque Terre line going to the towns, I was a pro by the end of my stay. I felt like this was the place I actually met other Italians as the cinque Terre can be super congested with tourists so I really recommend staying here instead of one of the 5 towns and making base doing day trips to the villages. The reception were really lovely and helped you try and understand the area before letting you go off to your apartment room. I didn't spend much time in the room but I slept really well and all the facilities worked and there was information in the hallway if needed about ferry times and spots to go to. La Spezia was also one of the more affordable parts of Italy I went to with some really good food and drinks.

The rooms are very nice, but a bit small. However, there is no reception. If you are lucky you will see small plaque (see photo) near a large door which infers that you are in the right place. However, there is no clue as to how to get in. When I rang the number on the booking form I was informed that I had been sent a WhatApp message with instructions as to how to get in - not a lot of use when travelling all day on Italian trains with no wifi. To be fair, the chap did turn up within 5 mins or so and let us in, but not a great start.

Excellent location, just at the train station. We booked through booking.com and got an excellent deal. We were 3 adults and there are plenty of rooms to accommodate families and a small group of friends. Please note that there is city tax to be paid on site. Also just wanted to say a huge huge thank you to the staff. Amazingly helpful. Helped us to check in after hours and then when staying again, helped to order pizza 😊. And you can store your luggage. Breakfast is included. You will get a voucher which can be redeemed in 2 places. It's for a cup of coffee and a fresh pastry. Typical light Italian breakfast. Delicious. Just a note, to make sure you go to the correct one, ask before. As there are 2. One has RED flower pots in front and the other has WHITE. The staff is very helpful, and can chat to via WhatsApp. Thanks again!!!

The hotel’s decor gave me quirky, artsy vibes the moment I walked in. Artwork. Plants. Little knickknacks. Even a fish tank. Our room had a small desk and clothes rack. And a refrigerator over the desk that took me a while to realize it was a refrigerator. Another chair would’ve also been nice, since sitting options were limited to one desk chair or bed. Ac was off and it was unfortunate since it was cloudy and humid the entire time we were there. Also, no window screens, which seems to be the norm in Italy. The hotel only serves breakfast, and they do it so well. Excellent selection of pastries, cold meats and cheeses, yogurt, even fresh baked bread. Its close proximity to the city center is a plus, as well as the fact that the first village in Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore) is only 7 minutes away by train.

MMikhailIt was simply the best travel experience we’ve ever had. We chose this brand-new hotel for our honeymoon, and Cristina and Nicolo did their best to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Liguria, with its open-hearted people, fantastic sea views/nature, and calm way of life, is perfect for a romantic trip. We will keep the memories of Villa dei Poeti and Liguria with us forever. Hopefully, one day we’ll return to this place and these people.

GGuest UserGreat location: close to train station, food store, laundry and a myriad of restaurants. A breeze to train it back and forth to Cinque Terra. A huge plus. DO NOT stay in the Cinque Terra touristy villages. Down side; the bar on the street below~ noise and cigarette smoke rises! TheMonterosso room is a direct hit from the bar. And, the room Frig was marginal at best. Yet, shower was great, maid service was amazing and the maid herself a sheer delight. The bed was a toughie to befriend as it was rather hard and took a night to grow accustomed to. The coffee maker and tea pot were a plus; however, only use bottled water. The “breakfast” was a far cry from breakfast and was basically packaged spongy rolls and Melba toast. Plenty of bakeries and breakfast bars nearby; go there. The price was a steal and yes, we would return and request one of the other Cinque Terra rooms. The proprietor was accessible and responsive. Stay here.

SSusanno007Posizione perfetta, a pochi minuti dalla stazione, dal mare, dalle fermate dell'autobus e dei battelli. Si trova nel centro storico con tutti i negozi a pochi passi. Le camere sono carine, completamente ristrutturate e il materasso è molto comodo. Pulizia ottima e una nota particolare a Sara e ai proprietari che sono molto gentili, disponibili ed onesti. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornare! Consigliatissimo

We loved the look and feel of our room with exposed brick, but modern furnishings. The room wasn't huge, but wasn't small. The bed was comfortable. There were enough plugs to charge all the things. There's a small area to hang clothing. The bathroom was nice and modern with a good sized shower. Everything was very clean. The woman who checked us in was very kind and helpful. Just note that this is in an older building so the elevator is tiny, but it worked! The location walking distance to the train station is perfect, as we were there to visit Cinque Terre. Certainly a good place to stay for that. The only slight downside was that we drove and parking was a little complicated. Particularly as there is nowhere to unload your luggage unless you just get very lucky with finding a space nearby. Otherwise you may have a pretty long walk with your bags after you find parking. Not a huge deal, just something to note.

GGuest UserGreat Airbnb so convenient to everything. We stayed in room 5. The room was clean, spacious, the bed was a king very comfortable. There was additional pillows for us to choose from. The air-conditioning work great, even though you were in the heart of downtown it was super quiet. The Bathroom was large and the shower has great water pressure. Elisa, was very helpful in recommending places to eat at. Super nice gave us directions. There is a laundromat across the circle from here. Would highly recommend this Airbnb in the future. If you are going to do Cinco Terre, this is the place to stay. You are literally a block and a half from the train station.

GGuest UserDecisamente oltre ogni aspettativa. Camera ideale per ogni tipo di turismo, estremamente pulita e curata nel dettaglio. Ottima l'attenzione alle richieste del singolo. Ciò che rende questo soggiorno perfetto è la location, a 270 metri dalla stazione che facilita sia chi vuole utilizzarlo come punto di partenza per andare alle Cinque Terre (al massimo 25 minuti di treno per Monterosso) che per chi vuole rimanere a La Spezia. Il risveglio in questo soggiorno, coccolati dalla vista della città, ti trasporta all'interno del libro ”Camera con vista” di E.M. Forster.

AAlfYYI LOVE this place! It's right up the town of La Spezia. Excellent ”hide-away”, though it's a bit of a challenge to get there. Up the narrow winding road that leads up to this hidden gem of a location. Beautiful & fresh mountain views and excellent fresh mountain air!
The beds were comfortable - firm which is to my liking & toilet was a decent size.
Breakfast was surprisingly decently spread despite only 2 families being there (including myself) from 0800-1000.
We were given the GND Floor room, which is superb because it opens up to the outdoor lounge are which overlooks the beautiful harbour of La Spezia.
Don't expect much as there are no facilities - this is a 2 star hotel/accommodation.

la posizione è sicuramente comodissima, vicino al centro e vicino alla stazione dei treni (perfetto per girare le 5terre). Anche la camera devo dire ottima con tutto il necessario, l’unica cosa che mi sento di criticare è la pulizia, io e il mio fidanzato siamo entrati in camera trovando tantissimi capelli in terra sia nella camera che nel bagno.. e anche nel corridoio devo dire che la situazione non era diversa purtroppo. Per il resto ci siamo trovati molto bene
