CChloeHotel is very central and we walked around town everywhere. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend booking a massage it was delightful. Got rid of my knots and would have gotten another massage but we didnt book in advance so we werent able to. Spa area was unexpected little gem. Jacuzzi and a sauna. The only down side to the hotel was the water pressure wasn't great. Makes a lot of strange noises as well. But this doesn't take away from the rest of the positives from the hotel.
GGuest UserRoom is nice and good size. Has sufficient space for 2. Breakfast is a nice spread, although it is exactly the sane everyday. Hotel has sauna, gym and massage services (cheaper than street prices for tourists).
Location is super convenient, easy walk to town for food and shopping. Also very near to the free shuttle to the Glaciaruim.
AAnonymous UserThe definition of a high-class room should be clearer. It actually looks far from high-end, and the information on the website is easy to be misunderstood. It can’t be seen that the room is shared with others, and it can’t be seen that men and women live together. The situation is very embarrassing. Improvements have been proposed to the website, and the attitude of the website service staff is also very positive. I hope that the description of the accommodation environment on the website can be more perfect
SshawndaikiClean, comfortable sized rooms with heating and daily housekeeping. Reliable water pressure and temperature control in the shower. The hotel is conveniently located about 15 min away walk from downtown. Reception is helpful with reservations and recommendations.
曽曽小姐It is about 10 minutes away from Main Street and not easy to find the way without a map. However the view from the big balcony of the lobby is very awesome and let everyone relaxing. There is 180 degree view facing the town of El Calafate with nice shading of sunrise and sunset. The staff of front desk is helpful in advising local tour and arranging shuttle bus to airport. The staff of restaurant is nice to explain the menu n Spanish while I can speak in English only.
CChristopherThis hotel was very clean and nicely decorated to make it welcoming and cozy. The front desk personal were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast consisted of sweet breads, jams, cereals, yoghurt, multi grain bread and hard boiled eggs. It was quite enjoyable and filling. The mattresses were very comfortable also. We made a great choice in selecting this hotel.
JJairoFor any solo or couple travelers this is an amazing place. Featuring a hot and I do mean hot room for those windy rainy cold days in El Calafate. Bathroom was fitted with a standing shower, toilet, sink area and dryer. Plenty of mercados (grocery stores) around and the center just a 10-15minute walk down the hill.
LLauWe are incredibly happy with our 5nights stay at Poincenot! I had forgotten that we booked a twin bedroom so at check in, I was asking if they have a room with double beds instead, without really hoping for too much. The lady at reception actually went above and beyond, walked up and down & checked a few rooms for us, although in the end we needed to take the twin room which was fine. Breakfast was great everyday, not too much option but can get your morning going for sure. What I loved most was the housekeeping! They turned our bed down daily, kept our room nice and clean which was a joy to come back to after a long day hike. We put the twin beds together and the next day when we returned, they made it a double bed by adding some extra mattress, what a star! I would highly recommend this place - though it’s a bit of a walk from the bus station but you will be surrounded by restaurants and shops anyway.
OOdiernaOttimo servizio, location a 10 minuti a piedi dalla strada principale, colazione variegata, reception cordiale e disponibile nell’aiutarci ad organizzare logisitica ed attivita’: Lucia e Javier semplicemente super! Raccomandato.
GGuest UserThe hostel is conveniently located very close to the trailhead, and the dorm room was clean and quiet. The music in the living/dining area played all day. It would be nicer if the volume could be lowered or the music turned off earlier in the morning. It was also unfortunate that someone stole my water bottle, which I had prepared and filled with electrolyte for my hike the next day.
