Outstanding
Clean newer place across the street from the Laguna Torre trailhead and a 12 minute walk to the Fitz Ray trailhead. Someone gave some thought to what hikers want when traveling. There are lots of plugins for electrical devices near the bed, in the kitchen, in the shelving in the hallway. The receptors accept European, US, and Argentina plugs. There is a microwave, toaster, stove top, and fridge. The rooms are large with good light and air flow. The beds are good. There is a rainfall shower. The towels are high quality. There is a heated towel dryer. There is free parking near the rooms. It is easy to walk to any store or restaurant in town. Consider booking a bus through the hotel if you do not have a car.
YYUEHONGThe hotel is not far from the main street. It's a bit like a family hotel. . The hotel also has a SPA, and the technology is okay. The front desk clerk service is sincere and average. . . But I like this town very much
GGuest UserExcellent location, very close to the main avenue where all the restaurants, shops, coffees, bars are located. Staff was very very friendly and helpful. In my opinion the breakfast could offer more fruits, honey and eggs. And the checkout time could be later…. 10:00AM is too early for a checkout.
GGuest UserThis hostel offers a great bunch of private rooms which can be considered as hotel rooms really. The hostel is a very near to the start of the two most popular hiking trails in El Chalten -Cerro Torre and Laguna de Los Tres. Front desk is always friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are included in private room price and have big portion and quite tasty. Dinner portion is huge too, and the restaurants get busy from 7pm.
GGuest UserBeautiful clean and modern rooms, finished to perfection! The receptionists were very helpful with everything I.e early check in, booking tours, airport taxi’s and general advice Also in a fantastic location. 15 minute walk to a Laguna and 10 minute walk into the main town. Highly recommend this place to anyone - couples, families or groups! Exactly what we needed for a few days here ☺️
GGuest Userthe service and staff are excellent. The facilities are very comfortable and clean. Highly, highly recommended. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After brilliant experiences all over Argentina, Arakur in Ushuaia, Los Cerros in El Chalten, to hotels in Bariloche, BA. Mendoza etc, we were excited to stay here at Lagos. How disappointing. The breakfast was the quality of a hotel one third the price. They could not control guests at 1am from running up and down hallways, partying in rooms. The walls have no insulation, so my wife could hear snoring through her ear plugs, through a wall. The staff were obnoxiously rude. The rooms dated, no free water. At least they were clean. The lobby is nice, the pool beautiful. The chainsaw, mower and other power tools all day outside window, for three days though has been testing. Ask to speak to manager and got nothing. Changing rooms to cheaper one but not getting refundwas also hard. Do not recommend
Overall the Hotel was nice but when we first checked in the room they assigned to us was facing the dusty parking lot with no view whatsoever except the cars. When asked to be moved to another room, the morning reception person would only give us another room at an addition US $20 per night. The hotel did not appear to be fully booked so we surprised at this request but reluctantly agreed. Upon checking out, the same morning receptionist, she charged us twice for the bottles of water we consumed and in our rush to get the taxi did realize this unit l later. Other than the morning Reception person our stay was good. On the contrary, the evening Reception was much more helpful and pleasant.
