The hotel is basic but very clean. Beds are comfortable and the hotel employees are very helpful and kind! The location is convenient and there is a deli across the street where you can buy food and drinks. Overall we had a nice one night stay at this hotel.

This place far exceeded my expectations. Service was amazing, the rooms we stated in were great. the owner made sure we got everything we needed. They are plenty of activities to do on the property. Basketball, volleyball, CornHole. plenty of space to for the kids to run around. The pool was clean. It's also located in great area next to village

Beds very hard
Pillows flat and only 1 per person.
Futon was broke could not open it into bed frame did not line up.
Not enough towles and wash cloths for 6 people.
3/4 of a roll of toilet on roll no additional toilet paper in the cabin.
Advertising as rock castle resort whis far from a resort.
1 full size bed in 1 room
The other had bunk bed which was not disclosed.
The on-line add was misleading did not represent the true picture of the place.
Owner, wife, kids friendly
Would not recommend or stay there again sorry to say.

First of all, the owners are very nice and made sure we had a pleasant stay. We enjoyed using the volleyball net, playing basketball and having a fire. We also had a grill on our deck which was nice. It’s a very low key place with zero frills. Think of it as a step above camping. We had a kitchen, but there’s very little in it. We had to ask for basics like plates, bowls and utensils. I expected basics like salt, pepper, oil, etc., but you have to bring everything. Also, the pool was closed, but even if it had been open, it was right next to the road, and pretty dumpy looking. Overall, we had a very nice time, and enjoyed the campy vibe despite being disappointed in some aspects of the place.

The cabin we stayed in was nestled in a group of other cabins adjoining a state park. The cabin we selected easily accommodated 5 as it had 2 full beds and a futon. We enjoyed walking out our front door to an on premises pool, basketball, fire pit, games and charcoal grill on our private deck. The owner is on premises, very friendly and helpful with information about activities in the area. We were about 15 minutes or less from West Mountain, Great Escape, The Fun Spot and much more. An added convenience is that there's a deli/convenience store across the street. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. I look forward to a return trip.
