The room was newly renovated and smelled of formaldehyde. I didn't dare to close the door when I slept... And the house was not very light-proof. At 5am, the sun shone in and I couldn't sleep. It was like there were no curtains. It was so hot.

Great Stay Near Lake Tekapo!
The unit was sparkling clean and spacious, with a lovely courtyard to enjoy. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest.
Contrary to some reviews, no deposit was required, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic—less than a 5-minute drive to Lake Tekapo—and parking right in front of the unit was very convenient. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow.
The facilities were great overall especially kitchen amenities and 2in1 washer with dryer!
The dish wash machine helps lot on the kitchen cleaning work!
The only suggestion I have for improvement would be to add a fence in the shower area to separate the wet and dry zones, which would make it even better.
Overall, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

This apartment homestay in Tekapo is great, with Chinese service and quick problem solving. The hotel is spacious and clean, with complete facilities, and the heating in the room is very powerful. It was a very good accommodation experience.

Very satisfied. You can clearly see the Milky Way and the Southern Cross and other constellations in the open space outside the door. You can take pictures with a tripod! Although it is winter, it is not cold when the heating is turned on! The kitchen supplies are also relatively complete, and the seasonings include salt and sugar.
