Stayed in Tekapo for one night for stargazing. There is a small road leading directly to the Church of the Good Shepherd, which is very convenient for stargazing at night. The rooms are upstairs and downstairs, with the living room and kitchen below, and 2 bedrooms upstairs, which can sleep 4 people. We stayed for 2 days and there was no service, which was fine and we didn't need to bother. You can go to the supermarket to buy food and use kitchen cooking utensils. This is what we need. The facilities are very good. There is a large kitchen and living room on the first floor, and a room and bathroom on the second floor, with separate bathtubs and shower booths.
