Hotels near Otemachi Station in Tokyo

Oh dear, I forgot to write a review, my apologies! This is my second stay at this hotel. Let me start with the conclusion: whenever you go to Tokyo or anywhere in Japan, if there's a Mitsui Garden Hotel in that city, just book it without hesitation. For the same price range, I personally think it's an exceptionally high-standard hotel among its type. Regarding this specific hotel, first, the location is excellent. From Marunouchi North Exit, it's about a 10-minute walk straight ahead, a very easy route to remember. The city views along the way are great, and there are various subway lines nearby. The room size is just right, and the facilities are perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. From the 6th floor upwards, each floor has vending machines for drinks and ice makers. One of the vending machines is specifically for alcoholic beverages, clearly marked. When I came in July, I visited them several times a day; this winter trip, I went less often. As for service, it was absolutely perfect... According to the policy of most Japanese hotels, check-in time is 3:00 PM. My Shinkansen from Toyama arrived in Tokyo at 2:00 PM. Since I had plans to meet a friend that evening and needed to shower and change, I discussed with the front desk lady if I could pay for early check-in. The result was that I didn't have to pay, and she asked me to wait a moment. About 10-15 minutes later, I was able to enter my room. I'm truly, truly grateful. Regarding breakfast, the dining area isn't huge, but it's one of the rare places that offers different food options every day. This means even if you stay for 3 or 4 consecutive days or more, you can still look forward to breakfast. So, if you're coming to Tokyo and need a quiet environment amidst the hustle and bustle, a comfortable room, and attentive service, I highly recommend this place.

Hotel situated from 28/F above, so view is perfect. If you are lucky, you can see the rail tracks of Tokyo Station which is one of the busiest rail section in Japan. Hotel is located right next to Tokyo Station and is undercover all the way. The underground connection to the Tokyo Metro lines is convenient but it will be good to get familiarize with the exit directions as you can easily get lost at basement level and GPS signal is not great underground. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. From check-in, luggage storage to check-out and also when you need some local guides, the reception staff are being helpful.

Traveling solo, I found this hotel conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Station's Yaesu Exit. The bedside power outlet and light switch were super handy. There's a big TV at the foot of the bed, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making for a very comfortable night's sleep. From my window, I could see the main street, and even a few cherry blossoms that had just been declared in bloom. All amenities are available at the front desk. Plus, there's complimentary coffee near the elevator exclusively for guests, so the service is excellent!

Good place for a Solo Traveller to stop over. Smoking is allowed in the rooms. Breakfast ain't that great, but for the price and if you are not too fussy on food, it is pretty decently good. There are lots of restaurants with good food just one block away along Kanda Ekinishiguchi Street. Location is very central to get to anywhere and the airports or to and from Toyo Station for ShinKanSen. A nice stroll or 2 underground stops away from Akihabara.... Anime and Tech Town.

The room is a bit small but I guess it is common in Japan, especially in Tokyo town. Location wise, it’s a short walk to kanda station and also a walkable distance to Tokyo station. Kanda JR station basically is good enough. Access to chuo line and Yamanote line. These 2 lines are good enough to go ueno, akihabara, shibuya, shinjuku, ikebukuro. And this station also hold the ginza metro line. And nearby otemachi station who has access to most of the subway lines. There are convenience stores nearby, 7-11 just next to it.

A short walk from the station, cosy rooms. Rooms facing the front of the hotel have bathroom and room windows with views of the Skytree and was nice. Two paths to the hotel from Akihabara station, one way is shorter but has a few stairs to go up and down in order to cross the small river. Gentle slope, and good news, it has also a slope in the middle of the stairs for rolling suitcases up and down.

The hotel is very close to the subway station. They don't provide bottled water, as the bathroom water is stated to be drinkable. There's a Lawson convenience store right downstairs, which is super convenient. If you're short on energy, you can take one subway stop to Ginza; otherwise, it's a manageable walk. The room itself was nothing special, but perfectly adequate, and good for light travelers, as our triple room didn't have space to fully open our luggage – the aisle was very narrow. However, that's a common issue in Tokyo, so it's acceptable. It was generally quiet at night.

Great location, only about a 5-minute walk from Kanda JR station, and surrounded by food streets. The room was a bit small, but the front desk service was very attentive. They even offer free hot cocoa and coffee, which my kids absolutely loved!

Location is a little inconvenient but I chose this hotel as I wanted to explore a new neighbourhood this time. There is a family mart 1 min away which is convenient as the hotel don't provide bottled water, there is also a Hiroshima style okonomiyaki 2 mins away which was good! Near the front desk, there's a station where you could choose your own pillow. Wanted to try out the tempur pillow but it was not available on the 2 nights I stayed there. Room is a little small but manageable even with 2 luggages. Probably would not stay here again since its a little inconvenient, but would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in kanda!

Location is excellent. Very clean. Walking distance to many shops that we wanted to go. Staffs are friendly and helpful. However there were only 2 washing machines and each wash takes more than two hours. Queue can be challenging especially when there are many people staying. And also there are no hot water dispenser at the pantry ground floor. Have to take cold or room temp water in kettle and bring to room to boil for a cup of hot tea or coffee. Other than that, this hotel is recommended due to its location.
