Shinagawa Prince Hotel
8.7 (4,691 reviews)

Shinagawa Prince Hotel ★★★★

📍 4 Chome-10-30 Takanawa, Minato Ward, Tokyo

"The location is incredibly convenient. It's a direct 20-minute train ride from Haneda Airport, and right across from Shinagawa Station. The hotel itself is comfortable with great views, and there's a bustling commercial area downstairs, including a large 7-Eleven."

HOTEL TAVINOS Asakusa
8.9 (1,912 reviews)

HOTEL TAVINOS Asakusa ★★★

📍 Asakusa 2-18-8, Taito Ward, Tokyo

"Overall, this was a great value-for-money stay in Asakusa. The hotel was clean, modern, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed, and the facilities were well maintained. The only downside was the location. It’s not particularly close to the main Asakusa subway stations, so if you’re carrying luggage or planning to use the train frequently, be prepared for a 10–15 minute walk. However, it’s still within walking distance of Senso-ji Temple and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores, making it a pleasant area to stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for travellers looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price."

Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel
8.7 (3,947 reviews)

Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel ★★★★

📍 3 Chome-7-11 Ariake, Koto Ward, Tokyo

"The space is spacious and good view. The location is quite far from places but overall we happy with the place so so much. We want to stay again."

Asakusa Hanabi Mercure 1&2
9.1 (39 reviews)

Asakusa Hanabi Mercure 1&2 ★★★

📍 3-29-1 Asakusa, Taito Ward, Tokyo

"The rooms on the first floor are convenient as you don't have to climb stairs. They're very close to Senso-ji Temple, have all the basic amenities, and are fairly clean. However, the air conditioner is above the bed, so it might be a bit noisy when you're sleeping."

Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu
9.0 (1,021 reviews)

Hotel Musse Ginza Meitetsu ★★★★

📍 Chuo-ku Ginza 7-12-9, Chuo Ward, Tokyo

"The location is superb for shopping around Ginza and near to Donki, really enjoy the breakfast"

Imperial Hotel, Tokyo
9.5 (2,387 reviews)

Imperial Hotel, Tokyo ★★★★★

📍 1 Chome-1-1, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo

"The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and every member of the team treated me with the utmost respect. While the hotel is a bit older, it's very clean and well-maintained; the housekeeping service was also excellent. The view from the window was absolutely stunning."

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku
8.9 (880 reviews)

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku ★★★

📍 7 Chome-27-9 Shinjuku, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo

"Front desk is very helpful and kind for luggage storage. Room is clean and tidy."

ONE@Tokyo by insomnia
9.3 (767 reviews)

ONE@Tokyo by insomnia ★★★

📍 1 Chome-19-3 Oshiage, Sumida Ward, Tokyo

"This hotel has a very stylish design. The self-service bar on the first floor offers free, unlimited bread and drinks, along with many origami and board games. Many guests gather in the lobby, making it feel just like a living room at home – a truly wonderful space. The room itself is very well-designed, but it's a bit small. It's suitable for the first night of a trip, as there isn't quite enough space in a double room to organize two people's luggage. However, it's definitely worth staying for a night!"

Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo ★★★★
"It’s a decent location to stay in if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya / Shinjuku etc., we stayed 4 nights here and found it convenient - around 8mins walk from the main Ikebukuro station and can get to most spots under 30mins. There are plenty of food options around the area too."

Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel ★★★★
"I stayed at Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel and had a mixed experience. The location is definitely convenient, especially if you are visiting Tokyo Big Sight or staying around the Ariake area. It is also close to the station, which makes transportation easy. However, the hotel itself felt quite outdated. The room was not as clean and functional as expected. Some areas, especially the bathroom, seemed worn and not very well maintained. It didn’t feel as fresh or comfortable as other hotels in Tokyo. The room size was also relatively small, which is typical in Tokyo, but combined with the older condition, it made the stay less comfortable. Overall, the hotel is acceptable for a short stay because of its location, but it may not be the best choice if you are looking for a modern, clean, and comfortable experience."

Imperial Hotel, Tokyo ★★★★★
"The hotel's location is convenient, very close to the subway station, making travel easy. Taxis are always waiting outside the entrance. The public areas are incredibly 'grand,' and while the room facilities are a bit dated, they exude an old-class charm. The soundproofing in the main building isn't great, which is directly related to its age. The annex, being less occupied, has less noise from people, but the railway noise is unavoidable and quite noticeable at night. Although breakfast wasn't lavish (I only tried the second floor and the Japanese restaurant on the first basement floor), it was full of ceremony. The service exceeded expectations; the front desk and the one-on-one guides all spoke excellent English. Their responses were prompt and their attitude was wonderful, which was very impressive. However, the service staff at the popular first-floor lobby restaurant were just average (it seemed they were more enthusiastic towards locals?). Overall, I still recommend it; it offers good value for money."

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku ★★★
"I had a great stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku. The location is excellent — very close to Shinjuku, yet comfortably away from the crowded and noisy red-light district. It’s quiet at night, which made resting after a long day of sightseeing much more enjoyable. One of the biggest advantages is the metro station right next to the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to get around Tokyo. Traveling to major attractions and other parts of the city was fast and hassle-free. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and a peaceful environment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo and looking for easy transportation access without the chaos of central Shinjuku."

"Our flight was delayed due to a typhoon, but the hotel staff understood our situation and even offered to refund the first night's stay! That was incredibly kind of them! The hotel is also very close to Oshiage Station, making its location super convenient!"
