"Very comfortable stay with clean rooms and amenities! The single room is small but perfect for solo travellers. They also have YouTube on TV 🤩. There’s hotel is very close to the airport, about a 5 minute drive. There’s a 7/11, skincare shop, kfc and Pizza Hut etc downstairs. Would recommend and book again if I’m back in Langkawi."

GGuest UserI have just returned from a truly wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Langkawi, and it exceeded all our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in luxury. The facilities are absolutely excellent—from the stunning pools to the beautifully appointed room, every detail was perfect. And the view! Waking up to that breathtaking vista of the Andaman Sea was really awesome and something we will never forget.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single team member we encountered was so helpful, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring we had a perfect experience.
We would like to give a special mention to Asri at the Beach Grill. He is such a nice and wonderful person. We felt so comfortable and grateful to talk with him; his service went far beyond just taking our order. He shared so many funny stories and insights about Langkawi, its culture, and its beautiful nature. He has a fantastic sense of humour and a real passion for the island, which made our meals there not just delicious, but truly memorable. He is a real asset to the hotel.
Thank you to Asri and the entire team for making our vacation so special. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we are planning to return hotel soon.

GGuest UserOne of the most incredible hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying at! The rooms are so beautifully designed, the staff are incredibly attentive, the service and food selection is out of this world. The whole resort is so relaxing, even by the pool you get your own private sun bed section. This is without a doubt the best hotel on Langkawi island!

TTravel Minds• Heart •EyesWe recently spent 4 days and 3 nights at St. Regis Langkawi, and while the overall experience was pleasant, there were areas that could definitely be improved, especially considering the premium price point.
Butler Service:
While St. Regis is known for its signature butler service, our experience left us underwhelmed. We only met the butler in person twice throughout the stay, and even during check-out, no assistance was provided. It didn’t feel like a true “butler service” experience at all. Perhaps the hotel should reassess how they define and deliver this service to meet guest expectations.
Valet Parking & Buggy Service:
On a positive note, the valet and buggy services were excellent—efficient, friendly, and professional. The team handling this part of the hospitality really stood out.
Breakfast:
The breakfast spread was decent but honestly did not justify the price we paid. Some items were disappointing—like the congee, which was served cold, and the pre-fried noodles, which were dry and lacked flavor. Additionally, if you are vegetarian, I would strongly recommend informing the hotel in advance during your booking. Otherwise, you might be better off opting for a no-breakfast package, as the vegetarian selection is quite limited.
Room & Housekeeping:
The room itself was very comfortable, and the turn-down service each evening was well-executed, adding a nice touch to the overall stay.
Overall Impression:
St. Regis Langkawi offers a beautiful environment, comfortable accommodation, and standout valet/buggy services. However, for a luxury resort, the butler service didn’t meet expectations, and the food & beverage offerings, especially breakfast, could use significant improvement. With some adjustments in these key areas, the experience could truly match the brand’s luxury reputation.

RRoh@nThis place is definitely a yes for travellers. Jetty is the usual mode of travel do a fancyy, breakfasts are good. We had a movie might during our stat set up just best to the beach, was killer. You can do cycling, there are buggies for internal travel again bit fancyy and you can just chill by the pool with a bar that serves liquor’s and with bar stools that are on the pool itself. Good experience.

Faraaz was welcoming and informative upon check in, I came in early to check in and he made sure to find me so that I can check in my room a little before 3 pm.
The surroundings are lovely, the resort hugs the mountains and is surrounded by lush green. There’s many activities that you can do within the resort, as well as the skybridge and oriental village a stone throw away ( you can get a one way shuttle courtesy of resort.
The room itself was old but the housekeeping staff does an excellent job because it was clean, there’s no sewer smells and the bed is cosy.
The only issue I have is that of the gaps which lets geckos in, a huge one made it’s home in the bathroom, thumbs up to front desk service which is open and the security came late at night to help find it but it had hidden. The next day I saw one come through the gap in the door, ( there is a brush at the bottom but doesn’t fit until the end) I clapped my hands wildly to chase it back out. Perhaps provide a door draft stopper, I just used the towels to fill in gaps as a makeshift one. However I know it is a resort surrounded by nature and these creatures will find a way.
Breakfast was excellent, I have to says the breakfast staff is the hardest working team I have ever seen in all my travels. Not only do they have to greet and seat, but they also accommodate late breakfast comers who come after the allotted breakfast time and wait until they finish a lazy breakfast.
The food here is delicious. It was a lovely stay.
Ps. Don’t forget to make a reservation in advance for Phan Thai, I recommend at 6:30, it’s not busy yet and you can take pics and enjoy the beautiful sky dimming into glorious colors. It starts to get really busy at around 7:40 ( it’s still bright out) .

SShiju JohnThe hotel is at a convenient location from the airport and Cenang beach, with both being about 15 to 20 mins drive. The rooms are decent sized with good views of the sea. We had a room on the middle floor, so the view was not uninterrupted, but that's not a deal breaker, although a higher floor room would have been amazing. The breakfast buffet has good options, including Asian, Western, Indian and a lot of vegetarian options available. The staff and the amenities were also good and the staff was very courteous and helpful at all times. We also took a massage at the hotel spa, but just for everyone's awareness, the massage room is just one of the hotel rooms that has been converted for this purpose. All in all, it was a good value for money hotel that I would recommend if you are looking for a newer construction hotel on a budget.

KKasim MohdHad a really nice stay at Camar Resort Langkawi with my wife and kids. The place is super peaceful, away from all the city noise—really great for just relaxing and enjoying the beach vibes. The surroundings are calm, and the whole resort gives off a very cozy and private feel, perfect for a family getaway. The staff here are super friendly and always ready to help, making us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. Everything was smooth and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time here. If you’re looking for a quiet and chill place to unwind in Langkawi, this resort is definitely worth a visit!

BBigKThe resort is right on the beach which is lovely and the service overall was good. It's needs to be said that the aircon in the room was visibly filthy, the fan was so noisy it was hardly usable. The tap in the bathroom seemed to be blocked because the water was hardly coming out of it. The shower head was leaking half of the water out the top making the flow weak. The roof above the canteen is full of debree and in desperate need of a pressure wash. About 40% of the lights between trees by the bar are in working order. The resort is old but for $100 a night I was a half decent level of maintenance to be upheld.

SSara BenzI was seating in the hotel for vacation it’s good location you don’t need to use grab too much breakfast is so delicious for cleaning not do clean every time you have to remind them to bring tooth paste shampo to clean but they response and they do what you want. They give only 2 towels no face towel 😳I asked they say only one 😓.the day I want to check out I was preparing my luggage and I feel so thirsty I called lady in front desk I said I need one water she said no 😂today you are checking out really I was feeling choked 😂
