Hotels in Tanjung Rhu Beach, Langkawi

Came to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday but was not disappointed. They’ve prepared a cake which was really sweet of them! Hotel is located quite far in tanjong rhu, so it may be quite difficult to get a grab to get out. we needed to go to Pantai cenang one day for jet skiing, and there was no grab drivers around even after hailing 30min. However the hotel was really nice to help us call a taxi, but even for them to arrive at the hotel it took 20 min due to the distance. We were quite late for our jet skiing that day, so do plan your trip well and leave way earlier. However, this gave us a lot of privacy which is great. We practically had the private beach to ourselves and there isn’t much people using it. The beach is also very pretty! Great for people who want a getaway from crowds and city. Rooms are huge, and they have given amenities such as bath salt for your stay. However, not all channels of Tv is working (Netflix etc) even though it’s written on the leaflet they’ve printed for each room. One night, we tried to call the hotel to clear our dirty dishes but no one picked up across reception, housekeeping, in room dining even though we were calling for 1 hour. Overall we really loved our stay. The people were nice and it’s really a great value based on what you pay. I’ll let the pictures show you this amazing resort :)

The room was spacious, facing the garden and had its own jakuzzi. The service was excellent with big pool for kids and family. Good spread of local & continental breakfast. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and stay

There was a kettle and a fridge available. There is access to the kitchen and washing machine. Apart from the ants and the hard bed, everything was fine

Staying for 2 nights in this wonderful little homestay, I have 0 expectations before arrival but once I reach it, it’s exactly what I’m looking for. Quiet and peaceful, next to the beach and has everything you needed. The owner was very nice and let me know all the amenities, although the weather is a little rough, it doesn’t affect my holiday mood. The cottage is clean and has everything you need. The bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning is so powerful that it cools down a hot room in 5 minutes. The shower has hot water and the water pressure is stronger than in my own house. Lol. There’s lots of outdoor seating area in the compound, just be careful that during evening time there are many mosquitoes. There’s a commune kitchen nearby the beach where you can do your cooking. The beach in front is full of rocks, please wear swimming shoes if you plan to jump in, otherwise, you can walk 5 minutes to the nearby beach. During my time, 90% of the beach is totally no people. You can have your own time and no one will disturb you. About restaurants, there’s only very few within walking distance. I’m not driving so I only can walk. One is the further restaurant nearby Four Season where sell Fish and Chips. Hmm, the food portion is a little small with that price, but it has a good view and draft Guinness. The other one is Din’s Cafe, if they are open in the morning I believe I would have all my meals there. Very decent local makan place (restaurant). They serve everything you’ll expect in a Malay restaurant. They also have western food and all kind of beverages other than alcohol. IT’S SO GOOD AND BETTER THAN MANY PLACES IN KL. If you need any groceries, there’s a shop about 1-15 minutes walking distance. They sell EVERYTHING you need. Surely will be back and thanks to the owner for such a wonderful stay!

I had a wonderful time here. However i was abit dissapointed at first because initially booked the standard seaview room and when i arrived the room was old and dusty. So i upgraded to premier (had to add RM300 for two rooms) and it was 100% better than the standard one. It is a newly renovated room & the view was spectular especially during morning. My room had a huge balcony with connecting door to my other room. My advice is for you to pay abit more and get the premier room instead. Trust me, it’ll be so worth it. The services were great too! The hotel has a great pool and facilités are good. The cafe has weird rules about some food being room service and some not. Buffet breakfast is average. The worst is the water from the tap and shower is yellowish and sometimes brown. They provide free water daily. Advisable to brush your teeth and drink with mineral water or water provided. Overall great room with a good view of the pool and sea.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Bayview Hotel in Langkawi with my family, and I must say it was an experience worth cherishing. Our accommodation, the Family Suite, provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's excellent amenities. The swimming pool was a hit with the kids, who thoroughly enjoyed splashing around while we relaxed in the nearby loungers. The hotel also offered a variety of dining options to suit every palate, ranging from local delicacies to international cuisine. We particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, which featured an extensive spread of delicious dishes to kickstart our mornings. Overall, our experience at the Bayview Hotel Langkawi was nothing short of fantastic. From the comfortable accommodations to the excellent amenities and friendly staff, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this hotel to any families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Langkawi. We can't wait to return!

Absolutely wonderful place! The staff were so friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived. My husband was fasting for Ramadan, so they changed his breakfast to an in-room delivery for 4am for no extra charge. The hotel breakfast itself was also excellent with lots of fresh, local cuisine to try. We stayed in the rainforest chalet - the room was really comfortable and the scenery was beautiful with lots of local wildlife. We spotted monkeys, monitor lizards. hornbills and flying lemurs while we were staying there, all in their natural habitat. Swimming pool was also lovely and the private beach was idyllic. You can swim in the sea but they have a ‘safe section’ marked off as there can be jellyfish in the sea. There are lots of local activities to do which the hotel can organise for you - we hired a private boat to take the mangrove tour, but there are many options and lots for kids to do too. Highly recommend and we will return again!

It has been great. It has been refurbished but definitely rooms for improvement.. water play ground for kids needed some attention as I see rusted screws protruding which is unsafe. Service can be better, or else with the similar price, tourist even local tourist can get better deal in Indonesia and Thailand. The hospitality and training must be improved.

Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, the room immaculate with a stunning view, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast buffet so sar ok, and the pool provided perfect relaxation. Every interaction was marked by warmth and professionalism, making our visit truly memorable and Wednesday have pasar malam very and this pasar malam very close to this hotel😚
