Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! So far it meet my expectation. Just one thing, the hotel parking too limited. Overall, this place will be my favourite place to stay in langkawi sith affordable price.

initially thought that the hotel we booked was a mistake coz there was no car park and the lobby wasn’t impressive. but once we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised that the family room (2 king size beds) was spacious, clean and cold. we only realized that you can ask the reception to provide complimentary car park service at the sister property which was only 200m away from this hotel. We loved the location of the hotel as it is very convenient to malls/ shop lots/ restaurants and of course the beautiful beach! Will definitely stay here again the next time! ❤️😘

The best way to describe this hotel is, a 3-star hotel with a 4-5 star resort personality and quality :) While searching online prior to booking, I found that it is 3-star and boutique level (I have learned in the past during my few stays in LGK, 3-star on actual site is often actually 2-star and less) which admittedly, already sealed my expectations but I was banking on it being revamped and newly launched few months ago so worth a check-out. While the front facade is newly painted and looks like a shop lot converted hotel, my oh my, the moment you enter the Reception area, everything is so well designed and nowhere near its first impression - and the Bayou was definitely being sneaky on me with its amazing pool backyard view! Room was great and as aesthetically pleasing as advertised, breakfast was a good spread and staff was superbly friendly. It felt like we were in a resort hotel in spite of its location. Another thing that I enjoy here is the openness of the Lobby area with ample seating areas, separated by flexible sliding glass doors which made the area more spacious than it actually is - the design is very clever. This wild card was definitely worth it!

The room is huge, the hotel is in a green area, it’s a long way to get there, at night there are frogs, birds and all that. You need to spend the night). There is no cafe here, you can only eat by delivery or go somewhere. You carry your suitcases yourself, both up the stairs and high up (there is no elevator). Clean air and the absence of sweltering heat have big advantages for this place. The bass is small, but ok. Clean, beautiful and good.

Don't be fooled by the 4.5 rating, because I certainly was! The only thing this hotel offers is big rooms! And not much else! The location is a big disadvantage, because all the main attractions are far away. You would either have to get a taxi every time, or rent a car or scooter. Car is better because of the distances, but it's more expensive. We were very happy that the hotel offers scooter rentals. However, sometimes the scooters are all in use, so then you're stuck. We were only able to get a scooter from our second day at the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Back to the rooms - they had white lighting, which is a bit tasteless and makes it a bit too casual. You can fix that with the bedside lamps, though. The rooms also have mini fridges, which is always a plus point. My main issue was the bathroom; the placement / height of the wash basin, with the tiny shelf directly on top of the faucet - barely giving any space in between - was VERY uncomfortable to use. There is a normal way in which things are meant to be positioned, but this was completely absurd. The toilet and shower were all *one* area, albeit big. No boundaries, no borders, no cut-off point separating the two. So when you shower, the whole bathroom floor gets wet - and stays that way. I wouldn't have minded, had they provided wipers. The toilet paper was not great quality, and its holder was worse - when trying to put the roll in, it broke in the first instance. The toilet seat was slightly flimsy. The shower pressure was good, but the water not as hot as desired - despite keeping the geyser on the whole time. There was no proper space to keep things like shampoo. Breakfast: They have the shortest breakfast timings I've seen at any hotel 😂, namely 8am-10am (two hours). It is served inside the room. They give us a choice from four local items (from which we have to choose *one* for each day), plus toast & butter/jam, plus tea or coffee. We have to make the tea/coffee ourselves with the kettle in our room. They already apply the butter/jam on the toast for you, which is good for lazy people like me. And it was quite tasty! The local items were okay; it varies from palate to palate, whether one would like them or not. I liked three out of four, though they were quite oily. All that said, it was THE most basic breakfast I've ever had at any hotel. It only works as a preventive measure from going crazy with hunger right when you get up in the morning 😂 Speaking of food - because of the location of the place, there are no restaurants you can get to by foot (as far as I know), and even GrabFood Delivery had very limited options (we survived on ordering McDonalds for lunch). One good thing was that, unlike other hotels, there was a water dispenser in the lobby, free to use whenever we wanted. Hence, we never ran out of water. Came to checked-in here for our last minute short trip. The last time we not able to enjoy the pool due to under maintenance. So we take the chance to enjoy it this time round. But the pool was floated with many flies due to rainy season weather. So we extend our request at front dest and asked them to clean it. They do immediately. After waited almost 25 minutes, finally the pool is ready. We so glad able to enjoyed the pool this time. Thank you to the staff. But pool water quality not so good. Maybe management can please improve.

the hotel is very clean. comfort and cozy. the view very beautiful. very near to the supermarket. just next to the hotel. also have cinema there. overall very nice hotel.

The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

Staying at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, the room immaculate with a stunning view, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast buffet so sar ok, and the pool provided perfect relaxation. Every interaction was marked by warmth and professionalism, making our visit truly memorable and Wednesday have pasar malam very and this pasar malam very close to this hotel😚

Room, bkfst all are ok. Only downside is the Internet very slow and Android tv couldn't connect to the hotel Wi-Fi. Needs to connect using phone hot-spot.
