Sfeervol en authentiek hotel, gebouw dateert uit de 12e eeuw! Buitengewoon vriendelijk ontvangst! Ontbijt was eenvoudig maar voldoende. Uitzicht uit onze zolderkamer wat minder. Parkeren op openbare parkeerplaatsen in de buurt, sommige gratis. Locatie middenin het centrum van Laon op loopafstand van ruime keuze aan restaurants en bezienswaardigheden.

Comfortable, characterful room at a moderate price. Extremely helpful and welcoming reception staff. Sited in the centre of Laon’s old town with free parking nearby. Only drawback was there is no air-conditioning in the room we stayed in, though we didn’t need it as the temperature was cool for the time of year.

Right in the centre, next to the city hall, the hotel is at a formidable location for exploring the old town of Laon. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Free overnight parking was available in front ot the city hall, during the day parking is limited to one hour (zone bleu).

Quirky, friendly and value for money. Well worth the climb to the room at the top of these historic stairs. We only stayed one night but the helpfulness of the staff, especially with the parking, means we will both use it as a future overnight stop to and from Calais, and recommend it to friends.

hôtel en plein centre ville, accueil et service très sympathique l'hôtel ne dispose pas de parking, il faut se garer sur la place de la mairie juste à côté, gratuit mais avec un disque pour une durée maximale d'une heure et demie chambre simple, peinture de la salle de bain qui s'écaille beaucoup, la déco est à refaire en particulier dans la salle à manger (moquette usée et ridée, plafond)

De passage à Laon, cet hôtel très central, propose dans une ambiance sympathique des chambres confortables, bien équipées et propres. Le bâtiment très ancien a son charme, l'ambiance est familiale mais très pro. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Si certaines chambres et peintures ont parfois un peu de bouteille, le prix bien ajusté fait un rapport qualité/prix très bon, et nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Hotel certes bien situé en plein centre ville mais dans une rue abandonnée, avec des immeubles inhabités. Hotel vieillissant, sans charme. Les chambres ont reçu un coup de peinture mais la literie est mauvaise, le rez de chaussée est vraiment miteux, notamment l'accueil et sent la fumée. Non vraiment, c'est pas terrible. On doit pouvoir trouver mieux au même prix à Laon...

This hotel was a real find. Recently renovated the room was spacious and bed comfortable. Nice touches in this old but stylish property. The host was friendly and courteous and gave good recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was good and I can recommend the coffee. The city is renovating the building opposite but this caused no trouble. We will stop here again on our next trip.
