My husband and I stayed 1 night in a tower room in June during our journey around Northern Ireland and Ireland. We LOVED this place and wish we had more time to enjoy the castle and the area. We highly recommend staying at the Ballygally Castle Hotel and would love to come back someday!

Recently returned from a two night stay at this beautiful hotel where we were made to feel so welcome and well cared for by the very friendly staff . The room was very well appointed with a delux bathroom and sea view, breakfast was “ yummy” cannot wait to return and would throughly recommend.

Beautiful position overlooking the sea. Elegantly furnished with original chairs etc. Very good meal in restaurant, special diets clearly marked. The room was warm and there was no air conditioning and windows only opened a fraction. It was a very hot and sunny day so sleep did not come easy. The staff were pleasant and efficient, we would gladly stay here again.

Excellent stay here....staff just brilliant and went over and above to make our stay memorable especially at check in and at the bar area.....made us feel at home...... food excellent too both in the restaurantand at bar......booked another stay as soon as we got home!!!!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant and the garden areas were stunning. Highly recommend staying at Ballygally Castle. The views of the ocean bay were spectacular with included parking which will save you loads of money!

If you want to come for a very quiet time this is the place! Lounge very spacious but empty, lacking atmosphere, and on a Friday night no entertainment, ! Shutters came down without asking for last orders, seemingly night porter can attend to your needs!! Service horrendous 15 mins for a drink! Poor girl left behind bar without any help!!!Will I return definitely NO!

We enjoyed our stay at Ballygally Castle. Stayed in a tower room which I would highly recommend. Rooms were updated but still gave a castle experience. Loved the secret staircase and the ghost room. Dinner was delicious and gardens are wonderful. Highly recommend this if in Northern Ireland.

Called in for lunch as it had been a while since we last visited. Scott and the team were 100% attentive to our requirements which is not always the case when we visit hotels in N. Ireland. Ordered 2 x steak sandwiches with togarashi fries….. OMG… probably the best steak sandwich I have ever had. Shared a dessert and once again absolutely beautiful. We will certainly be back for an overnight stay this time ! Many congratulations… very well done !

A 5 nights stay in this very atmospheric location on the seashore. Exceptional staff in every area of the hotel. Receptionist very helpful and professional and luggage taken to rooms immediately on arrival. It was there before we were, no mean feet as the left out of order at the time! Rooms service beautifully every day, so welcoming to come back to after a long day out. Bar staff well trained and again, very professional. Restaurant staff welcoming, prompt and attentive at every meal. We like that breakfast didn’t have to be ordered the night before and to a time – which has become the norm since lockdown. Breakfast unhurried, with everything to choose from. A good start to the day. We tried most things on the evening menu and in the main, the local produce is very well cooked. If not to your taste, the staff do everything they can to remedy that. In short, a very well run, caring and professional hotel where everyone tries their best to ensure you stay as all it should be. Thank you all.
