Best Hotels near Clos du Cas, Le Castellet

Cadière d’Azur is een schattig dorpje in de Provence, net weg van de highway, die goed hoorbaar is op de kamer. Het hotel is charmant, maar de kamer Favory die wij hadden moet hoognodig worden opgeknapt! De douche was kapot, kon niet gewoon meer hangen, het water liep niet weg en de cabine was het formaat van de jaren 70 van de vorige eeuw in een niet al te beste gîtes. Ook het schuifwandje van de douchecabine was kapot. De wc bril was oud en kapot! Voor de prijzen die dit hotel rekent, moet het veel beter‼️We lieten 5 overhemden, 5 slips en 5 paar sokken wassen en waren totaal verbijsterd over de prijs van € 97. Uiteindelijk werd € 25 afgetrokken, maar wij vonden het bizar, zeker gezien het feit dat onze kamer gewoon beneden alle peil was. Ik zou me schamen gasten zo te ontvangen! Het eten in zowel de bistro als het restaurant was heerlijk en authentiek, met een leuke touch vd Provence!

An amazing hotel in the La Ciotat/Cassis area! The hotel is brand-new and well amenitized. Well thought out spaces for the lobby area and other public spaces. We had a lovely room with a view overlooking La Ciotat bay as well as the Mediterranean Sea! So amazing! The highlight of the visit however was the great service offered by Yuxuan and Belver at the Front Desk! They took such great care of us during the stay and ensured our visit was perfect! Five star service indeed!

I stayed one night on a quick business trip to Toulon. I did not have breakfast so cannot comment on this. However, the hotel is centrally located and convenient for me to attend my meetings on foot after arrival. Parking in the railway car park is a little complicated (though I had stayed in the hotel previously) and the process for booking in advance, which has changed in January 2023, was not explained in the welcome email I was sent (just a QR code attachment). Otherwise the hotel is perfect for a quick business trip to Toulon. I will use again.

Unbelievably disappointed with this hotel and a majority of its staff. We experienced a tragic void of cleanliness, professionalism and hospitality during our entire stay at the Mercure Hotel in Toulon, France. Unfortunately, our fruitless attempts to resolve these issues directly with on-site management (which does not exist) and corporate personnel (impossible to contact) leave us feeling violated of our dignity and robbed of our time and money. We hope the following information will help others in the future, including travelers, hospitality staff, Sébastien Bazin, Gilles Pélisson, and the like. CLEANLINESS: Upon our arrival, we could literally see dust and dirt on all of the shelves, counter tops, balconies and floors of the hotel and room. Even the carpet in the room was so dirty it stained the bottom of our clean socks. The toilet room smelled bad, like, well, a used toilet. We politely asked for it to be cleaned, however, no one ever came, not even to freshen up the room at any point during our stay. COMFORT: The air conditioning did not work in our room, ever. When we spoke to the front desk staff about the sweltering temperature of 90 degrees F in our room (even though the thermostat read 16 C) and were informed to “leave the room for awhile to let it work”. We left at 3:30PM and returned at 11PM to a less sweltering temperature of 85 degrees F in our room. We asked staff member available, Alexi/Alex at the front desk, if he could fix the thermostat. He begrudgingly came to take a look and was profusely sweating after one minute in the room. He could not turn on the air conditioning even though the thermostat read the same 16C. He said we could open the window, but that would just let in the bugs in and turn off the air completely. He also suggested we leave the room to wait 15 minutes for it to turn on…? Given that that strategy did not work when suggested earlier, we asked for a different room with working air conditioning. He laughed at us and said no because it would not make his manager happy. We said we would happily speak to the manager about the issue and he laughed again, said no, and stated management is not available on the weekends. We then asked for some sort of a solution and Alexi/Alex appeared annoyed and said “there is nothing to be done” and that he had to get back to his “other duties” at the hotel. Turns out it was actually the end of his shift and he did not want to stay any longer that his end time to deal with this problem. We noted that the sheets and bedding were surprisingly all polyester, which doesn’t breathe like cotton, and acts like a heat conductor and made it more difficult to achieve sleep. He laughed again and said all the rooms are the same and there is nothing to be done. We went back to the front desk to ask for help from the next staff member and found that the only person available was a very kind, intelligent security guard named Cherkre(sp?). This hotel is outstanding on all fronts and we enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, greeted in the foyer and overlooking the pool and beach below, we were so pleased to be here! We asked about a sea-view and were upgraded for a fee per night. Our room was overlooking the water on the top level with a balcony which we enjoyed so very much. We visited the restaurant on our first day for lunch as we waited for our room to be ready and enjoyed and the service, champagne and food were wonderful. Overall, our housekeeping was good and the attention by the pool upstairs, including aperol spritz in the afternoon, were fabulous. We also enjoyed cocktails in the lobby areas on the sofas and the bartender was outstanding. We asked for a car ride to the train station our last morning and all worked out quite well--lovely gent and again, great front desk staff. Highly recommend this fantastic escape as it is located just a short walk to the village and would make for a romantic getaway anytime! We would gladly return!

Super hôtel et personnel d’une gentille rare. Hôtel très bien situé et très calme. Chambres spacieuses,confortables et très propres. Places de parking disponibles. Petit déjeuner complet. Le restaurant juste à côté sur le parking, recommandé++ du fait maison, de très belles assiettes pour des prix bien abordables. Nous étions en séminaire, le personnel a été très professionnel, souriant et patient !! Moment très agréable. Nous reviendrons 😊

I very much enjoyed staying at OKKO Hotels Toulon Center. This hotel has a perfect location, provides nice snacks and drinks, and has new facilities. It's the best bang for the buck! The hotel staff was also great. They were always so kind and gentle. I'm sure that I would stay at the hotel when I visit Toulon again.
