L'hôtel en face à la gare, très facile à trouver quand on sort du train ou du car. Hôtel très proche du centre ancien et de la vieille ville. C'est propre , les chambre sont confortable. J'étais déjà venu l'année dernière, à cet époque le personnel l'accueil était très à l'écoute, de même pour la jeune fille au petit déjeuner qui était de même très sympathique. Je ne les ai pas revu cette année. Seul point négatif la salle de petit déjeuner est trop petite néanmoins avec le soleil de l'été on peut profiter de la terrasse.

Le Puy en Velay is a fascinating town, and our overnight stay in ibis worked out perfectly. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. There's a convenient work area near reception - which we used to charge our phones given our plugs needed adaptors ! Free parking behind the hotel is a huge plus. Everything is walkable, you're just on the edge of the town cetnre.

Had an excellent stay here a few weeks ago. Promised a review and here it is. Highly recommend this hotel. Friendly and efficient staff (sometimes get one or the other, both is the best). Room are very good size, modern, everything works, plugs in right places etc etc. Well soundproofed from road. Air-con works. Only thing missing is tea and coffee in room but there are facilities downstairs. Buffet breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time: real oranges for juice, a spread of local cheeses, some hot choices etc etc. Parking well worth the modest cost. Easy to access secure underground lot just over the road. Location perfect for seeing the sights. Very hard to find fault. Special thank you to the friendly young woman who made my double expresso a couple of mornings and ran the breakfast room very well. All staff were charming and it’s always good to stay somewhere that functions well with a smile. Big tick.
