Holiday Inn Express is right beside the Holiday Inn. There is a train track just behind the hotel which was quite annoying. The hotel though was clean. There's only one elevator. Staff were kind and friendly. The hallway was way too hot. The room was modern enough with a great desk area that swivels out. The couch was uncomfortable. The bed was great. Lots of tv channels. Great kurig coffee. Bathroom...way too small. And the shower curtain was ripped in two places.

Property is clean, well maintained with a shuttle to the airport. Didn’t try the continental breakfast because there is a Tim Hortons nearby. Overall a good airport stay and I will recommend for anyone needing to stay near the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you want to be in walking distance to places, probably not ideal. This is an ideal airport hotel.

I was delighted beyond belief with everything that Tru Hilton had to offer! It is unlike any hotel experience that I have ever had! Incredible decor, magnificent bed with the softest sheets, gigantic TV, gorgeous bathroom with novel soap & shampoo dispensers, lovely breakfast, attentive staff & spacious quiet rooms. Not cost prohibitive as one might expect from the Hilton Brand. The only odd thing was that they will charge money if towels, bedding or the mattress is stained or damaged! This is above & beyond the damage deposit! Otherwise, I will gladly stay here again & recommend it to anyone else staying a little outside of downtown Edmonton!

I booked a night at the Renaissance as I was flying to edmonton to pick up my son and fly home the next morning so didn't want to stray far. The room was clean, cozy and quite. There was a pool and Starbucks and several food options. Very accommodating and would stay again.

This is a very nice new clean hotel with friendly staff. They have social distancing signs throughout the building and require masks in all public areas. The room was very clean and we appreciated the extra touches (like the towel decor and flowers). As heavy sleepers, the train was a very mild issue. However, for anyone who is a normal sleeper or a light sleeper, the trains may be an inconvenience. However, the hotel does provide ear plugs in the rooms for light sleepers.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise. A gem in the middle of an industrial area. The room was clean, well appointed, and the bed comfortable. We (6 of us) had dinner there and it was very good! Again, we were surprised! We had to miss breakfast but got grab bags to go & coffee at 4:30 a.m. waiting for the shuttle. The staff were great and very accommodating. The shuttle was on time and a call from the airport when we picked up our luggage and the shuttle was at the airport within 10 minutes. We definitely recommend this hotel. Fred and Donna V.

The hotel is obviously in need of an extreme renovation. We had a large team visiting. Several rooms had various bugs in them. Carpets in the hallway were so old they were stretched and bunching. Decore and atmosphere was not pleasant. Phone lines did not work. Elevator had issues. The corners and edges in rooms were not clean. Mattresses were old. The breakfast room had ants in it around coffee area. Spend additional money if necessary and enjoy a nicely renovated clean hotel. Had we known this hotel was in such disrepair we would not have booked.

I have stayed @ this Inn a few times & have been content. Room is clean & spacious. Corner fireplace is a treat. Shuttle to airport OK & short drive to airport. I do have a complaint about the included breakfast. The downstairs eating area is still closed off??? The desk clerk hands you a small bag (which is adequate) but not until 6:30 am. So if you have a 6 am shuttle to airport, they will not give you a breakfast bag. Really!!! This is an airport Inn & many people have to catch early flights. I hope they reconsider their included breakfast policy.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is awesome, restaurants, close to the outlets and airport. The queen room with the pull out couch was plenty spacious for my husband, myself and our two kids. The room was very clean and the hotel staff we met in the lobby and breakfast area were all friendly and very helpful.

GGuest UserWe had requested a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout, but there was some kind of a mix-up, so instead of a pullout, we had only a love seat. Arshdeep at the front desk was very kind and helpful in getting the situation straightened out for us. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was pretty decent. Upon check out, we wanted to pay with a prepaid Visa gift card, which Shivani worked very hard to figure out for us (we've stayed at other hotels, who either couldn't figure it out, or didn't even try, so we are very grateful to Shivani for not giving up.) The only downside of our stay was that there was no hand soap in the room (a supply issue) and we had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper, which should have already been stocked in the room, but these are pretty minor inconveniences. I think we got great value with this hotel, and would likely stay again if we need a place close to the airport.
