We’ve stayed at The Castle on a few occasions whilst visiting family in Kirby Muxloe. We’ve had the pleasure of staying in a number of the hotel rooms which have all been clean, comfortable and modern. The rooms vary in size between adequate and palatial at various price points, none of which are excessive given the facilities and service we have received. Staff are friendly without being intrusive, and breakfast and dinner have been good both in terms of quality and price. Special thanks to Caroline and Pam who always seem happy to see us and have always go above and beyond to help even arranging for me to have a bacon sandwich when I thought I had missed breakfast at park run!

Our group of 12 stayed at the Castle Hotel for a weekend visit to Leicestershire. It was an excellent location for us as we were visiting the Cathedral (park & ride close by) & then walking around Bradgate Park & Beacon Hill. All the staff were excellent. Dinner on the Friday evening was very good & breakfasts were plentiful. Our group had a very enjoyable weekend & The Castle Hotel went a long way to making it so.

Excellent spacious room with really comfortable bed. Chef and Brewer standard menu but with Chef specials which were very good. All staff were very friendly especially Caroline at breakfast. Thanks for the chat!! I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

An altogether enjoyable two-night stay. Very pleasant bedroom, excellent evening meal and lovely bar snacks. Especial thanks to the very helpful and friendly breakfast staff, Caroline and Becca. The service could not have been better.

We have had a wonderful lunch with friends today at The Castle Hotel. We were welcomed by Steff, who showed us to our table, served our drinks and food in a friendly and helpful manner. She made us feel very welcome and valued. Thank you, we will most certainly be going back there again soon.

Stayed for one night on a trip north. Very comfortable room and the food was excellent. All the staff were very welcoming. Special mention for Faye who looked after us at dinner and 'Sweet'' Caroline who served breakfast (I'll always remember the pancakes!)

Stayed 1 x night on business. Never stayed before. Rooms exceptionally clean and cosy, along with a very nice personal hand written welcome note on my bed. Compliments to Chef for the Game mixed grill - delicious. Staff brilliant, Caroline a credit to the hotel ! Thanks

We ate dinner at the Castle this week and had great service from Isobel. She was friendly and helpful whilst making our choices and attentive to fill our drinks. We ate from the specials menu that was game themed and would recommend the game mixed grill as a seasonal alternative to the regular misxed grill.

I was in a party of twelve who, because of the numbers had to order the food in advance. OK we did that and should have been a good experience. It wasn't brilliant. I know of four meals that were returned because incorrectly cooked steaks. Mine and the person opposite were not great but we didn't complain.
