I love Motel One. Normally. But this particularly premise won‘t be my first choice next time. The gentleman, who checked me in, was kind of distant, hardly polite. They still have time slots for breakfast, full hour only, which, he explained, is due to the fact that they have more rooms than space. However, they do have a quite nice bar on the 8th floor, in addition to the much less charming „lounge“ for breakfast in the 7th floor. Why don‘t they use both rooms, when they are sold out (e,g,during the book fair)? The hotel is also extremely noisy in terms of road traffic. It is located at a huge intersection, and about 8 (eight!) ultra-noisy tram lines cross on both sides of the hotel. Even on the 4th floor, and with my windows closed, I only finally fell asleep sometime after 1 a.m., when the last tram drove by, and woke up at 5 a.m., when the first tram of the day made itself heard. My request at check-in for a room at the 7th or 8th floor was ignored by the man I mentioned above. He also just gave me a voucher, with which I was sent to the 8th floor to pick up my complimentary bottle of water, while my colleague, who was checked in next to me by a very nice lady, received a bottle right away. I got mine only, when I asked, why I had to go up to the 8th floor, whereas my colleague got her water over the counter. Last but not least I usually use the Motel One stairways instead of the elevator, even if my room is located on the 6th floor or even higher. And especially, if there are only 3 small elevators in a hotel with - allegedly - 150 rooms (the reason given for the breakfast slots). However, in this hotel there are no stairs that get you to the lobby on the ground floor. I was told would have to exit in the Edeka Supermarket next door, go out into the street, and then enter the hotel again. Strange. Anyway, since there are 2 more Motel Ones in Leipzig, which are both great, nice and with a charming staff, I doubt that I will ever pick the „Post“ again.
Thank you for choosing our Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Leipzig hotel.

Great location and very comfortable hotel, ideal for a stay in the beautiful city of Leipzig. Rooms were large, light and airy, with excellent coffee machine, large shower room and separate wc. Staff were very friendly and facilities were ideal. A minute from the stunning train station and a few moments walk to the main shopping area and a large selection of bars and restaurants. This hotel comes highly recommended for an enjoyable and hassle free stay. Although we didn’t have breakfast, it looked great.

Location is excellent, near both the railway station and the city center. Nothing that you need for a night or two is missing, but the styling and furnishing is really ”spartan”. And definitely ugly! If you can stand it, it must be considered as very affordable accommodation in the Leipzig city. The rooms are very simple in furnishing, but beds are ok (although rather small), well cleaned and there is even AC! Breakfast is cheap and with a surprisingly large selection. Very good! If you only need a place to sleep for a couple of nights, then this hotel is certainly an option!

This is my second Motel One and I did not think it was possible to have a room more spartan or smaller than in Berlin Mitte..but I was wrong. As a single I have 1 towel, 1 set of pillows, 1 duvet, no washcloth (none in Berlin either). There are no nightstand, just a shelf that you would use for stacking clothes if you unpack. 3 hangers. When you book, they ask if you are single or double. This is why. My companion is with her husband and paid more for a double. Higher floor and 2 of each. On the flip side, it is in a great location. I had to close the window because of the church bells and street noises. You have a lively bar and breakfast while very expensive at $13.50 is great. You could skip it and walk up the block to several bakeries. Avoid a car if possible. The lot is extremely tight. $15 per day. So while cheap and clean, the other costs add up. You have the bare minimum but with great common areas. If you do have a car, turn left into an open lot…before you get to the street that is the motel one parking garage. Same price, but easier to manage.

Great breakfast. They serve you tea or coffee at your table and cook your eggs to order. The Green Housekeeping policy at the hotel means they will only clean your room if requested. Highly recommended.

The Townhouse Leipzig was one of our favorite hotels on our recent Germany and Austria vacation. Set in the heart of Leipzig within one of the oldest Rennaissance buildings in the city, the Townhouse is next door to the Bach Museum and steps away from Thomaskirche and the iconic statue of the great composer. Our top-floor room looked directly out on Thomaskirche and the Bach statue. Upon entering the hotel for the first time, we were impressed by the beautiful style and creativity of the unique decor and lighting, the charming furnishings, and the friendliness of the staff. Our spacious suite was spotless, had a kitchenette, comfortable couches, a nice flat-screen television, a large modern bathroom, quality linens and pillows, and a warm, welcoming message from the staff. Above the king bed was a large reproduction of one of Bach's cantata manuscripts. The windows opened up onto a stunning view of Thomaskirche and the surrounding city. The Townhouse Leipzig offers free high-speed Wi-Fi, a laundry service, a fitness area with workout equipment, a sauna, and a library! The restaurant provides excellent buffet breakfasts. We found several excellent restaurants within easy walking distance, including Johann S Restaurant & Bar a few steps from the hotel. The front desk staff were so helpful assisting us throughout our stay, looking up museum times and tram routes and schedules for us. The rest of the staff throughout the hotel and restaurant were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The price was surprisingly affordable, given the location and the quality of hotel, and the surrounding area was quiet at night. We loved being wakened by the Thomaskirche bells in the morning. The one minor inconvenience is the lack of on-site parking—not surprising given the unique location—but they offer a convenient unloading and loading area for luggage, and we found easy parking adjacent to Thomaskirche a two-minute walk from the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this excellent boutique hotel to anyone visiting the city center, and if you're in Leipzig on a Bach pilgrimage and need a great place to stay, look no further.

Ich würde allem abraten hier zu buchen This terrible hotel is rare. First of all, the room smells of sewage and makes my head hurt. Both of the lamps on the bed are broken and the TV remote control is not available. I complained after one night, but only electricity was healed, and even after two nights, the smell of the sewage ditch did not disappear, and I had to open the window and sleep while it was snowing in winter. Never make a reservation for Koki!

We stayed here , travelling from England, for my son’s 21st birthday. He supports RB Leipzig fc, and we took him over for a match for his birthday. The hotel was clean and comfortable and bright. Good location, only a few tram stops to RB Leipzig football stadium. It was nice that the family room was split into two rooms. The only thing it lacked was a kettle. Though plenty of cafes and coffee shops near by.
Located directly at terminal of Leipzig/Halle airport. All rooms with King Size Bed / 2 Beds, soundproofed windows, flatscreen TV, ac, bath with rain shower, free WIFI. Continental breakfast buffet every morning.

We used the hotel for a night without breakfast because of a flight the next day. Fore-night trip is usually associated with less stress. The staff was friendly. Entry and check-in can be made here around the hour. The parking house is just in front. Only a few meters of footmask with baggage is hardly a problem. The airport is almost a contract with the parking house. So in a few minutes walk to reach. Our double room and bath were clean. However, rather narrow and small. But for a night for our purposes and price performance ( about 60 Euro) really OK. The mattress is already remarkably soft, I think. The room has WiFi, TV and air conditioning. Despite the neighbouring air traffic, noise from the air is heard at least nothing from closed windows. We were here for the second time in 2 years and would be booked again at any time because of our positive experience and can recommend it for the purpose of quiet conscience.

Outstanding
TTigernassifHyperion Hotel Leipzig is a beacon of elegance and comfort nestled in the heart of the vibrant city of Leipzig. My stay at this hotel was an ensemble of exceptional service, luxurious accommodation, and culinary delight, epitomizing the charm and hospitality of this historic city.
From the onset, the staff showcased genuine warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth check-in process and addressing every need with promptness and courtesy. Their unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction permeated every interaction, rendering the atmosphere inviting and congenial.
The room was a symphony of sophistication and comfort, fitted with plush furnishings and cutting-edge amenities, offering a serene retreat amidst the city’s dynamism. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of excellence and care.
The culinary experience at Hyperion Hotel was a gourmet journey through diverse and tantalizing flavors, highlighting both local and international cuisines. The dishes were crafted to perfection, and the refined ambiance of the dining area added a layer of elegance to each meal, making it a delightful gastronomic affair.
The hotel’s prime location is a significant advantage, providing easy accessibility to Leipzig’s rich tapestry of cultural landmarks, entertainment venues, and shopping districts, allowing guests to immerse themselves fully in the local experience.
In conclusion, Hyperion Hotel Leipzig stands out as a distinguished choice for travelers seeking a blend of luxury, impeccable service, and cultural richness. The harmonious amalgamation of elegant accommodation, exquisite dining, and prime location makes it a premier destination for those wishing to experience the essence of Leipzig in style and comfort.
Visited Christmas markets and stayed one night. Arrived early and was given an upgraded room on the 6th floor. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and after about 10pm could no longer hear street noise. Next morning went to breakfast buffet. Enough variety of selection for me, the coffee was good, and plenty of seating at 7:00am. Both check in and check out were easy. Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Leipzig.
GGuest UserEasy process from start to finish. Bar/reception staff were very nice & professional. Room was clean and had great features (charging port for electronics in a locked cupboard area). The bunks had Curtains for privacy and to stop light. Room was maybe a little too warm/hot - could’ve just been me. Quiet sleep that night which was perfect. Bar on site was small and cheap good beers
TTimkathLocation is just across the hbf, though a little walking is needed.
Breakfast was ok, but not too extensive . No machine coffee available .
Reception was friendly and helpful, but can get slow due to many guests at the same time.
It’s not actually a Marriott hotel level as other countries.
Nice room (on the 6th floor - my wish granted) with a great view for me, big room with 2 extra beds for the family, very friendly table, charming little bar, breakfast in the cosy, big lounge (with huge windows and a great view, too), everything clean and efficient. An excellent Motel One experience. This house is one of my favorites (and I am a frequent traveler, for business and leisure).
GGuest UserIt takes about eight minutes to walk from the central station.
It is very close to the center, so it is a good location for travelers. The building looks old, but the interior facilities are very tidy and new. The room is very spacious, not only 4 beds, but also a large space in the middle, so it's really good to use the space.
The unfortunate thing is that you have to pay for the towel and borrow it.
The shower booth in the bathroom is slippery. It feels like it's watery because it's not cleaned? I think it would be nice to clean the bathroom right away!
Overall it was a very satisfying accommodation!
The only picture is the kitchen ㅎㅎ
TtorinessThis property is in a great location in central Leipzig. An easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. Apartment was massive, modern, secure and very clean. No air conditioning though and we stayed in middle of summer - the room was very hot even with the plug in fan provided we were a little too warm. Also getting the access to the room is a little complicated but once we managed to get the information about how to check in (is all online), it was good. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again.
GGuest UserThe Arthotel is directly bordering Primark and you don't have it far from the Bruhl or railway station or market. It is modernly furnished, as the name already suggests. Good that this is also expressed in a board stick instead of a box, not everyone likes. Our room was oriented to the street and had a huge glass front. The bathroom was very clean, had a flat shower and beautiful large flats on which otherwise is saved in hotel baths. The reception was very friendly and gave us a room before the time. I had concerns about breakfast - obviously a permanent theme in the reviews. It is either done in the meantime or the claims are different. I would classify it as something above the average. Two service staff are responsible for the care at breakfast. Whether the box is cleaned between and even wiped away depends on who is in service.Today (11.04) was a good day... 😀 It is important to emphasize that the coffee machines are available to guests all day. The arrival by car is a bit difficult. Recommended, due to distance and price, the parking house on the west side of the train station.
GGuest UserSpent 3 nights here while attending a family wedding. A comfortable room. We ate the buffet the first night which was extremely unimpressive. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice for both hot and cold food. It was a shame hot dog type sausages were the only choice on the third morning, we had both enjoyed the more traditional style of sausage offered on the previous two mornings. My main complaint is that neither the restaurant nor the bar opened on the Sunday. I do not understand why a hotel bar in particular would be closed to guests. A great shame as there were a lot of positives.
GGlennWas stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up.
A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit.
Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.
