The overall location was good access to a lot of areas. The hotel was decent and relatively clean. Parking was a little difficult to find though as it is on the street.

On checking in Asked to have breakfasts in the morning , was told fine and booked a time slot. Came down at that time to be told not on the list. Confused by this the man we booked with came over said yeh but you haven’t paid. So strange wasn’t asked when we booked. Breakfast was awful. Literally nothing cooked one bit of bacon one tomato 5 other empty trays. A lady cooking one thing at a time asking how we want eggs and how many. Family of 4 starving we wanted all our cooked breakfast on the plate. Instead we had to get up every 10 mins to see what was ready or about to be , to get what was cooked and ate it in bits like that. . Was the strangest thing I’ve ever seen and we have been to tons of Premier inns. Really bad to not have all cooked replaced and ready in a constant flow , and it was only 09.30 am. £20 for 2 adults for that was bad value and highly inconvenient. If we knew we would have paid less for a full breakfast on the plate all at the same time in spoons. Honestly sort it out guys really isn’t fine dining complicated! Air con in the room was also noisy I didn’t sleep a wink and hubby didn’t as his pillow was like a solid slab.

I had the worst experience at this hotel the staff was super unhelpful and rude and we had very noisy people upstairs and the hotel wasn’t helpful dealing with it. We had rust all over our sheets on our bed. Well I hope it was rust. I could go into so much more detail but I just don’t have the energy. I’m disabled and there was no disabled parking. The staff was super rude and unhelpful.

LOCATION: In town centre facing Station Rd. Cars from Norton Way should turn into Station Rd at roundabout and take first left into Openshaw Way. Public car parking just off this road, just past a right hand bend, second left. Hotel is a little further up Openshaw Way from car park. Plenty of shops, restaurants, etc. Railway station just a short walk away. From the car park to the hotel is a bumpy, uphill push for a wheelchair. Later we overcame this by parking short term on yellow lines nearer the hotel. You can do this for up to three hours if you display a blue badge. PUBLIC AREAS: Bright and clean. There is a small restaurant serving breakfasts, also a small selection of evening meals, together with wines and other drinks if desired. Staff friendly and helpful. BEDROOM: Comfortable bed. Small bedside tables, with light controls, but no drawers. Small wardrobe. Adequate sized desk. Good bright room lighting with subdued lighting from bedside lights if preferred. ON-SUITE FACILITIES: This is where Premier Inn excels - disabled-friendly rooms bookable on-line. This room had a wet-room style shower, including seat and ample safety support rails. Curtains round shower area and good floor sloping kept water within shower area, without encroaching into other parts of the room. Plenty of towel hanging space. OVERALL: Owing to limited storage space, this hotel would probably suit short-term visitors rather than long term. The location, incorporated restaurant and good facilities for the disabled are all plus points. Staff were very helpful when we left an article of clothing behind. We sent them a stamped-return package, and it was back with us in two days. You will not get better than that! This is a lodge rather than a full-blown hotel. On this basis I am happy to award four stars. The only real downsides for us were lack of drawers in room and car parking less convenient than we should like.

My wife and I stayed here during a visit to family. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and bus stops. The room was clean and comfortable as per most PremierInns with an in house restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here several times when in Letchworth to visit family . I have always had a comfortable and hassle free stay. This premier inn is ideally placed for the train station just a short walk away from which there are regular trains into London.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to a family wedding. We have stayed in a number of Premier Inns over the years, all have been good, but this one in Letchworth Garden City was definitely the best we’ve ever stayed in. Great location (minutes walk from the station and very handy for eating places, shops etc). Very comfortable quiet room, spotlessly clean, good air conditioning and everything worked just as it should do. Delicious breakfast. Above all the staff without exception were very friendly and welcoming and gave the impression that nothing would be too much trouble for them.

Everything was great. Friendly efficient check in, well equipped perfectly clean room, bathroom likewise with good over bath shower and plenty of hot water. Everything was in good working order. The hotel was pretty quiet both inside and from outside producing a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was the usual premier inn Buffet style hot and cold offering with something to suit most people. The hot food was good and had not been kept hot for an extended period as is sometimes the case. Good freshly ground coffee from the machine. There didn’t appear to be an evening food offer or bar but I could be wrong. We were going out anyway so no problem. There are several bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. There is no on site parking but we parked across the road at the station for £4.50 for 24 hours. ( it was Saturday evening) there is another couple of car parks round the corner about 10 minute walk away including a multi storey.
