Great

the room is big enough for one or 2 person in their standard room with kitchen facilites. breakfast is good.
the location is good if you prefer a quiet area with mountain view off village centre, but a bit walk distance from village if you have no car, tho they have shuttle service.
free hot spring pool is good too. hiking trails and télécabine are nearby
Old hotel located quite far from the city center. Decent breakfast.
Pleasant thermal swimming pool.

Very Good

This hotel is very cost-effective. The scenery outside the hotel is great. The hot springs are comfortable to soak in. The facilities are a bit old, so it is very cost-effective. Unfortunately, I forgot my iPod under the pillow and sent an email to the hotel, but nothing happened.
The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are relatively large, with bathtubs, and the balcony rooms are large. The hotel has its own indoor hot spring, which is comfortable and does not require a cold. You can soak in the hot spring while looking at the snow-capped mountains. The only drawback is that the location is a bit remote. You have to go to the bus station Diana to eat, and it closes at 5 o'clock. You can also order food at the hotel, which is about 45 Swiss francs per person. The hotel breakfast is OK.
Remember to book a hotel car. The hotel shuttle bus terminal must be booked one day in advance. If you don’t drive yourself, you want to push your luggage directly from the Diana station to the hotel. There are several big slopes😂

the hotel is even for Switzerland to expensive! the rooms are big but very old! reception is open only from 8 am to 8 pm! if you need the key you can take it by yourself ! security ????. breakfast starts at 8 am ! at the reception we had big discussions about the parking bc I paid this before and it was even written in the booking confirmation! I honestly cannot recommend this hotel

It smells like financial problems, an unmaintained swimming pool and makes you want to run away. Poorly prepared room with an unpleasant smell, and many other things that don't make you want to come back. Very poor value for money

Nice view of the village from the rooms. The site needs a refresh. The carpet is from another time. The temperature was very high in the rooms and it was not possible to reduce it... Too bad... Breakfast was a nice surprise with plenty of choice, but a lot of chipped cups.

On our arrival we were reminded that we had to pay for parking + or - more depending on where we left the car! The swimming pool is not suitable for swimming, the water is green and foul-smelling! we gave up the SPA (you had to pay extra) and what can we say about the rooms....they are large and spacious, but: stained carpet, squashed bugs on the walls, the floor of the terrace gutted. The bedding is good, but it took a while to shower, there is no pressure in the shower...very positive point, the breakfast is very fresh, good and varied. It wouldn't take much at this hotel to 'it's becoming a nice hotel again, but it's really Shinning's Overlook Hotel....

Arrived for a weekend, no heating in the room. The solution was to give us an electric radiator, a bit of a poor solution for a superior room. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Meals well served, salad buffet and breakfast are not up to par. The establishment is not properly maintained, it remains from the period which could be magnificent if investments were made. The changing rooms for the swimming pool are more like a fridge, for privacy you will quickly have to forget it is wide open, in one of the changing cabins there are skis and a cleaning machine. The location of the hotel is pleasant, the view from the room on the south side is very pleasant. In the end I tried it but the desire to return is not there, this establishment absolutely needs to think about carrying out a major renovation effort. Not being satisfied with the service, I notified my dissatisfaction but made no commercial gesture. I stayed on a weekend which did not meet my requirements for a three star hotel.

We didn't think it was possible to have such a horrible hotel. It has certainly remained as it was when it was built. Everything is dilapidated and in its original state. The doors fail to stay in the hands. The entrance hall is dark, smells of tobacco and does not make you want to stay there. The elevator is vintage without a protective door, not up to current standards. The room terrace is horrible. All the furniture is threadbare. The outdoor pool is empty and the terrace is horrible. The indoor swimming pool is also in poor condition. Dinner was the first prize of a Sodexo meal. The filthy breakfast with scrambled eggs that smelled bad, little choice, still at the 1st price Sodexo level. This hotel barely deserves 1 star for its qualities: - pleasant staff (whom we really complained about working in this establishment), - cleanliness (still happy) - an incredible view, certainly the most beautiful because the hotel is on point the highest in the station. In short, one night with dinner, breakfast and 1 parking space for 200CH. Definitely don't go there.

The welcome is warm. The rooms are large, but dark. The infrastructure is aging. The dining room has no soul. The meals are poor. The establishment has a pretty terrace.

Back after almost ten years. The reservation first, made a few months before: impossible to stay until January 2, without explanations (which I should have asked, we agree...). So departure on the 1st. Arrival: the man in black welcomes us, in German or Swiss-German, does not speak French: fortunately my wife can speak to him. According to him we forget our cat (which we will almost be blamed for, and added when we leave...), and there is room in the indoor parking lot (which is not true...), in short a somewhat hectic arrival, with going back and forth to find where to park (which is actually a real problem there). Can we say that we were really well received? It’s a welcome that is both very (too) cool and professional. The room: as always very large, comfortable, with balcony: very positive point. Missing a safe, a minibar and thermostats (it was hot!). Meals: impeccably serviced by an Italian or Ticino lady who speaks French. Very good menus. Nothing special on December 31, we were extremely surprised: perhaps lack of information? Breakfast: perfect, nothing to complain about, and always the great professionalism of the Italian-speaking lady. Pool: good, a little shabby but that's what surprised us last time. Summary: good stay, many points to improve.

Its old-fashioned style may or may not please you, but the rooms need to be refreshed. Remove the carpets which are nests of dust, change the mattresses (in horsehair) from another era, put thermostats that can be adjusted on the radiators because it is stiflingly hot (at the time of saving oops) , the lights are still equipped with old bulbs which illuminate little or nothing. On the other hand, the room is spacious, clean, quiet, with a beautiful view of the village. Although very pleasant, the swimming pool and jacuzzi are not spared from the ravages of time. The breakfast is quite correct and the staff very friendly. The reception service is very rarely present (at any time) you have to call someone by telephone so for a little information we hesitate to disturb...

Bon week-end
