This is a painful review to write because Hotel Atlantico has been our go-to hotel for trips to Jesolo. Sadly the hotel doesn’t seem to have survived the Covid crisis unscathed and there has been a noticeable decline in the quality of the accommodation. In no particular order our issues on this visit were: Poor maintenance. We expected that during the COVID shutdown some of the maintenance would have been achieved, but attention to detail is missing. Furniture and door frames are starting to come apart. Same breakfast selection every day, no variation. Multiple rooms with sewer smell One lift which is not enough for the volume of rooms Wi-Fi is only useful for reading emails, not sufficient for browsing and definitely no streaming. Devices often disconnect for no reason while others are connected for days. Slow service at the bar in the evening Fridge in the room is poorly ventilated (no top ventilation) which causes the unit to maintain heat in the cupboard space. Need to leave the door open to cool the unit. On the plus side this hotel does have one of the best roof top pool areas which is for adults, with closed cabanas. Unfortunately the adult area when we were there was also being used for what can only be described as “adult purposes” for which a cabana is not a suitable alternative for a private bedroom. The price of the hotel is still on the reasonable side, but you no longer get the quality that you once did.
